My camaro z28 Glitched...

Bought a new Z28 from the dealership and added engine stage 1
then I race modded it
and when i try to install engine 2 it say's this must be installed in proper order

and when i try to install stage 1 it says "this part is already installed"

any fix?

My friend has right now but bought another one for the classic supercar race (hard as hell)

so anything i should or should not do to prevent this?

All previous GT's don't let you do anything after race modding a car. I think this one is the same and its not a glitch. Tough luck, bro.

I had the same thing... I did a bit of tuning before RMing it and I didnt do stage 2 or stage 3 engine tuning yet.... So I went back to try and put them on and it wont work... I think you have to put all that stuff on BEFORE you RM it.... Because I remember when I RMed it, it said it took off all tuner parts installed and I could reinstall them after.... So I guess when its RMed things like engine tuning cant be added... Which is a pity because it would be making so much more power if I could get Stage 2 and Stage 3 engine tuning!!

Yeah only 275k down the drain...
and worse part... used my last Ultimate opal black paint (rp)
so gotta hope my friend sends that paint chip back or i got to spend another 160k on one (GT-R '09 has it)

FYI I bought a 69 Z28 from the dealership and immediately RM'd it. I was then able to install engine stage 1 & 2, so it seems to be a problem specific to you. Definitely a glitch

I race modded mine and could add all the parts i wanted after without a problem, it must be a bug. If i had that problem id just keep the car for now, it might get fixed in a coming patch.

Go to tuning options and apply engine parts there. When you race-mod your car all currently equipped parts will be uneqipped.

I upgraded everything on a Honda Type-R, then race modded it. Lost a ton of horsepower, but suspension and tranny was still what I already paid for. It showed like I still had all the turbo stages done...but that has to be false, the HP was way lower after race mod. The only thing I could do again was increase HP with engine levels, but even after that, the HP was still much lower then it was before race mod. I ended up starting over and this time I race modded first and then upgraded everything else after and that went off without a problem. Pretty sure it's a bug, because even though it says you will lose parts you upgraded, but can pay to put em back on again.....you can't.

Then I went to the engine tab and noticed that engine tuning stage 1 was not selected so I checked it off (along with everything else that got disabled) and now I just put stage 2 and 3 on it without issue.
