Why are the P and S notes (Premium/Standard) left? I'm using cockpits only so that's very important for me

A car with P/S in their name indicate there are 2 version (both standard and premium) of the same car. For example: the Mazda 787B is a P/S because you can import it from GTPSP (it will become a standard in GT5,no cockpit) or buy it from the Mazda dealer (premium with cockpit).

Hi, didn't find those in the thread yet: you might need to check the names of the challenges, as I am playing the game in German.

Flight Academy Mercedes-Benz AMG Expert Gold: Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren '03
Flight Academy Mercedes-Benz AMG Expert Silver: Mercedes-Benz SL 65 AMG (R230) '04
Flight Academy Mercedes-Benz AMG Expert Bronze: Mercedes-Benz SLK 230 Kompressor '98

It's darn wet out there and the the SLS is quite a beast. Fortunately it felt like the complete-lap track was a tiny bit dryer.

Cheers

edit...: dammit, just saw Fyshokids Post, I searched for SLR in the thread... Whatev - I can confirm his claim... ;)

Has anyone received an F1 car sofar as reward? and what about the Redbull X1 Prototype

Any leeds would be usefull
Kaz has confirmed that you unlock the X1 by completing the Sebastian Vettel Challenge and unlock this event at Level 30 it was posted on the last page of this thread and can be found in the latest news update on the front page of the site. I'm only on Level 19 so I've got a way to go yet beforer I get that beast of a car.

Do you still receive the same prize car if you do the same competition or would you jsut get the money and nothing else?

I will do next week the endurance races of Suzuka 1000 km and Nordschleife 4h and will tell u what do you get as reward prize car.

I have the Red Bull X1. It was very hard to get it.

congrats, can't wait to get mine..

was it harder than getting gold in all license? I found that the earlier license were a lot harder to get gold than the later ones, especially the stupid brake tests - . -

I dont have all licenses gold, but they are far easier than the X1 challenge.
I tell you for this car you will work very hard.
Or wait till you get to level 40 then you can buy it for 20 MIL.

Man, only decent prize cars are in the Extreme events... Going to take a while to get B-spec good enough to take advantage of that Toyota 7 race car.

Yeah, I noticed that some of the prize cars don't exactly go with what you have to do to get them. I mean, in GT4, you won the Roadster cup you got another Miata..in GT5, you get a crappy Miata or the Mazda Furai which is probably the best car in the game. However, for winning the NASCAR cup, you get a old GTO?

For the sport truck race you don't get a truck, and for the F1 race you get...a Caterham. I mean...there are some that make sense like the Coutach for completing the Lambo championship and the Ferrari for completing the Ferrari championship, but most of the prize cars just seem randomized....like PD put all the car names in a hat and all the remaining races in another hat and drew to see what you won for each event.

Oh damn I may have to do that event a lot and win the car. I don't fancy trying to get 20.000,000 credits and wait 10 levels after the Vettel Challenge to buy it.

Is Level 40 the last level. I saw a trophy for reaching Level 40 and unlocking the X1 to buy at that level seems to suggest so.

not so sure about that..you should try getting gold on some of that slalom and braking tests...dear god that took forever

I have a question on the Prize Car List. On the third worksheet it lists 'Cards.' Does anyone know what this means? I am on level 17 and have yet to receive a 'card' of any kind (although a Kart did appear magically in my garage some time ago). Any help clearing this up would be appreciated...

Congratulations. What do you do to get it in the event beat a time set by Vettel or something else.

The images in his gallery show one picture where there are 3 X1's onscreen at once, so it looks like you're trying to beat other ones. I'll be at the challenge later tonight, so I'll post the full details.

For the dream car championship I got the ford gt race car :ouch:

Roadster 4 hours yielded me a @%#$&ing 110S

Prize cars have been absolute **** for me so far

Could the OP please bold all the premium cars? That would really help in me making decisions whether to purchase certain cars or not.

@barkiecol133 a or b spec?????

For those of you complaining and requesting the Standard and Premium Car notations. Why dont you look at the car list for crying out loud. Let us at least complete the list first before asking us to do more.

OK folks. I know you all liked the Spreed sheet that sunn had started, but I had to move it.

It now resides on my personal blog.

This is actually a good move with a lot of potential. In the coming weeks I will be working on getting every car and their make name linked to their own page with information and screenshots. I know this is a huge undertaking but I feel it will be worth it.

Thanks for understanding.

The delta s4 rally car '85 is A-Spec only. I have completed the event and do not have that car, none have been sold.
