RetroGiant - Thanks! I was sort of going for that track day-ish sort of sidelines feel to the photos.
grillface - Thank ye kindly!
polifonic - Thanks for stopping by, glad you like it!
Arathorn - Glad you like them, thanks for the comment
ragnar666 - Haha, always good to see another Aussie about these parts! Thank you!
And now on to the next update! This one is a bit special, for a couple of reasons. In the spirit of Christmas I'll be posting three special updates over the next three days, with a surprise to come once they're all posted. All the cars have two things in common: they can be considered the 'forgotten models', cars which ought to have been in GT5 but aren't. But fear not! Thankfully with an aero part here and a coat of paint there, it's not too difficult to recreate them! The second thing they have in common is a surprise... all will be revealed on the third day!
For now enjoy part 1 of my three part Christmas special, and watch this space for much more very soon!
First up is my best recreation of a Fiat 500 Abarth.

The 500 has been tuned to Abarth Esseesse spec, around 170hp with sports adjustable suspension, exhaust, intake manifold, stage 1 engine tuning, sports ECU, lightweight clutch and flywheel, close ratio gearbox and a set of sticky sports soft tyres.
On the outside she's got an Abarth style aero kit, including flared wheelarches and rooftop spoiler, and a racy set of white Enkei wheels. But what tops it off is the (amusingly expensive) Scuderia Rosso paint, care of an F430.
It's a heap of fun to throw around a racetrack, with tons of grip and quick acceleration thanks to the close ratios. It'll lap the Top Gear Test Track in low 1:32s, and the Nurburgring Nordschleife in around 9:25. Not too bad for a 1.2L engine!
