Log out of the GT site, then log in to the Playstation site. Leave the PS site logged in and in a new tab, log back into GT.com

This may be a very silly question..but I can't seem to figure out how to change my GT Profile Picture and also the time that runs on the Remote racing screen (it seems to be EST time on 24 hour clock)..help please.

Your GT.com profile picture is set at your in-game GT5 profile.

I just dl'ed the grinder and got it working. It's great when you are away but I hate the fact you cannot select the people you want to give the love too. Looks as if the only way I will use the grinder is if I'm away from home.

Is there a specific place where we can go to see credit and XP payouts for a particular race. I've hosted a few races so far and all I've been able to find is the finishing position of the drivers. I can't seem to find the XP and credit winnings for the races I've hosted.

So I can only see how much a particular driver has earned, but no way to see what a race paid?

I see earlier in this thread where others have documented the payouts for a particular race. Did they have to individually check each driver after the race to see how the payouts changed to come up with the race payout?

Have a look here

The above link is wrong and way out of date.
B-spec level has no effect on Prize money. Sorry.

A level 40 driver starting 16th and finishing first gets the same money as a level 0 b-spec driver starting 16th finishing 1st. Any driver who starts any position in a 16 car grid gets the same prize for first, on the same track and the same EXP for B-spec remote.

Change grid size = change prize and exp but the same finishing position of the same grid size on the same track pays the same every time.

Yes to build a data base of the prize funds for each race requires. you to log the prizes after each race of the 16 car positions. a spread sheet application was used.

For most money never race less than 16 car grid and Finish first every race. Do not race any other track than the Le mans circuit. 23490cr 35000exp. As of version 1.08. The race time is no longer a factor they are all 20 mins.

For most experience points race any track with a 16 car grid and finish first.

PS After you hit start you have zero controll over the out come.
PSS I haven't done the other tracks 16 grid prizes due to doing offline b-spec 24hrs tracks, Im 8hrs in to the ring 24hr after thats finished Ill resume the remaing tracks.

That's correct. GraphiteGB's table for max earnings per race is accurate:

How running less than 16 drivers affects payout can be read here:

Driver level and starting position has no effect on payouts.

In short, yes.

You dont want to know how realy annoying a driver can be when he refuses to finish last, even when hes level zero and its the only result needed to finish a table off.

I was checking the winnings of all drivers I was going to use pre-race and post-race. At least that allowed me not to care where each of them placed.

I'm sure this has been answered but I'm a real newbie to Remote Racing. I've installed the widget and am hosting a race now. Do I get more or less XP if I host as opposed to others hosting?

Less since you only have 1 driver in the race. If your friends use your remaining (up to) 5 drivers, you will get a lot more.

can I start remote race then turn ps3 off? what happens when I do that? my plan is to start remote race, power off ps3 then go to work.. thanks guysss

Well, what happens is that it'll kill the remote race. And, naturally, won't do any further remote races. In order to do remote races your PS3 needs to be in server standby mode, it cannot be off. So, unfortunately, your plan is not going to work.

Can I only remote race (web or via PS3) with PSN friends? I can't just find other random folks to race? thanks.

Edit: n/m. Answered my own question :)

Ok, now I have a real question I can't find the answer to.

If all 6 of my drivers are shared and consumed up in others' hosted races. How do I free them up to cash in on their rewards? The game won't let me take a driver private if he's currently racing.

btw, I'm using b-spec grinder, and it looks like I can put friend in the "always use" list that isn't hosting and reserve all my drivers for him (effectively freeing them up), but that doesn't seem to work.

Thanks.

Also, check your log. If the driver you want to cash in joined a race 19 minutes ago (just press log again to refresh it), start hitting "receive" until you get to cash in.

I've stumbled upon a new problem which I haven't found the solution to yet. When remote racing through gran-turismo.com I use a second account, so I can use all my Bobs from my first account, but when I try to add bobs from my first profile a warning comes up saying: "driver not found". Why is this? Anyone know a solution to this problem?
