I don't think I have seen a tune for the Daihatsu Midget before.

With some "creative" driving it's possible to get a decent finish with only a few upgrades but what are the best settings the mighty Midget can use to beat those other trucks on Laguna Seca?

How would you get into first place though?

With a few tunes the Midget still struggles and is able to push into 5th by the first corner and blocking cars only works for a while until it starts slowing you down because there's so many.

It was meant as a joke that you are able to use the midget in these races :P.

What is the maximum horsepower you can get by the way?

114hp I think, got my midget to 3rd and the lead car was only about 5 seconds infront on first race.
So I think with abit of fine tuning 1st should be easy to get, i was doing 1.06.xx laps, lead car finished race 5.29.xx, so maths is possible.
Not sure how well it will fare on the other races because as soon as you hit a straight your done for :)

Questiuon, Can this be done: ?

Go online, in a Midget, join the Indy 500 , ask for 2 redbulls to sandwich you from either side, and see how fast you go! lol.

EDIT: sorry I didn't read the title properly before. Here is the only bit of my post that might be useful:

IIRC the main problem was roll oversteer exiting the corners, so to fix it properly I'd be looking at the rear ride height and anti-roll bar.

Comments:
I managed to pass the lead Silverado SST on the Schwalbenschwanz bend just before the long back straight. I drafted the Silverado and Tacoma X-Runner on the back straight to a speed of 135mph. I passed the Silverado SST on the last corner to achieve a second place finish losing to a Tacoma X-Runner by about one or two seconds for a total time of 8:49. Try to avoid the edge of the track and bumps.

Good luck micro truck drivers!

Has anyone been able to win any of the truck races with this midget (or do they prefer little truck?)? I've been pretty close on tsukuba, but haven't been able to get there, and I haven't tried any other tracks with it...

Here is your winning setup for the Pick-Up Truck Challenge at Laguna Seca with the Midget II. In the B-Spec truck event the A.I. uses sports hard tires. The strongest opposition is the Toyota Tacoma X-Runner's with lap times of 1:51-1:53. This tune runs about 1:52 a lap around Laguna and can take the lead on the first lap without contact or shortcuts.
