I'll use thread to trade for cars I'd like to take around the Nürburgring (or any other track for that matter!).
In return I'll offer you different tuned cars that I'll change from time to time - so let's make a deal! :)

Specially tuned Maserati Gran Turismo S '08, 530bhp & 300km/h easily capable of 6'55''000 around the Nürburgring.
The car is available in three different setups*;
  • 'Comfort' (basic engine tuning optional, suspension and gearbox tuning included)
  • 'Sport' (my personal favorite. Very well balanced, a real joy to drive 👍)
  • 'Racing' (same basic engine specs as 'Sport', but with more torque hence better acceleration. Also, rear wing as optional addition.)

Use this form when ordering a Maserati for trade;
Setup: Comfort / Sport / Racing
Paint*: Original (from dealership) / Request (your color) / Random
Tires: Racing Medium / Your choice

Or simply specify what Setup and Tires you want and let med take care of the exterior and create a unique look for you :)

Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX GSR '05, 320+bhp & 260km/h (Sport).
Get familiar with the comfort tires!
(I custom made this car for myself when I started to race with comfort tires)

The car is available in a verity of different setups;

  • 'Beginner' (for those who basically never raced with cars on comfort tires in Gran Turismo.)
  • 'Novice' (perfect if you like a challenge while still being able to mix it up a bit with the occasional powerslide 👍)
  • 'Expert' (comes with a tad more power and increased torque, along with a rear wing)
  • 'The Stig' (The beefed-up version, a great challenge, Mitsubishi on steroids etc. This version won't do you no good...)

*Color requests can be submitted, for example metallic green or pearl white.
If you want a specific color, you're better of just painting it once you receive it.
A small rear wing and front spoiler are standard on all three setups unless other is requested.
All cars come with Racing medium tires unless other is requested.
You can also choose to let me create a unique look for your car and receive it with a surprise color and various body modifications
(comparable to the standard of setup chosen or higher).

I want a Maserati but I don't have a 370z. Is there anything else you would like for one have a look at my garage in my sig.

I'm going out of town on the 21st so just send a friend request or I'll send it if I get to my PS3 first and I'll send the GTR when I can and you can do the same with the Maserati. You are very respected on GTP so I know you won't scam me.

Yeah, we'll work it out somehow :)

And to everyone else visiting this thread, I'm still very much interested in trading for a 370Z Academy (black or white would be lovely).
 
@alvin23a; I've sent you the car now. Note that it initially has around 514bhp, a number that will increase once you start to race it. If you want to get a feel of the 530 (which the car is tuned for) promised bhp right from the start, use the Power limiter to increase it.
I'd love to hear your thoughts on the performance of the car once you've tested it on the track.

Thank you. I will send your car as soon as I can as I'm having troble connecting. Also Did you test the tune online or offline as if the car has a very nice tune offline 99% of the time it will fell undriveable online and visa versa. I think it is because you can not roll your car online.

I have driven it quite a lot, and it is most certainly drivable, you might have to be a bit more gentle on the accelerator on some occasions perhaps.
That being said, I'm not a huge fan of the online multiplayer in this game, but I think all cars act more natural offline than online. (not surprising since they had to cripple the online part a bit). :)
 
Updated the OP. Looking to trade away an Maserati with awesome setup to each one of you who lay down a fair trade ;)

I don't have the car you would like ideally but perhaps we can set something up.
Are there any cars in particular you are looking for or should I list the better stuff I have and let you see if anything catches your interest?


Also if we do strike a deal, is it easier if I provide the Maserati? I have one thats unmodded and only been raced twice.

There's actually one car that I'm looking for, a Tommy Kaira ZZII '00 (preferred to get a red one if it isn't paintable, if it is then it doesn't matter) if you'd happen to have one of those up for trade that'd be great - otherwise just list some of the cars you'd be willing to trade.

When we have a deal, I'll buy the Maserati and adjust it to the specific settings, It's only fair (plus you'll get some additional hp from an oil change) :)

I'd rather take a stock, but as long as the upgrades aren't irreversible it doesnt matter that much to me.
 
Hey I got my hands on a GT Acdemdey 370Z but it's tuned (got it like that after getting told it was stock IT WASN'T)If you want it you can have it but do you have any other cars that you are willing to trade?

Alright sounds good. I've worked on setups for two other cars now for a while, I'll probably put one of the models up for trade here in this thread tonight - if you like it, we have a deal. Otherwise let me know and I'll see wat I can find in my garage ;)
 
So I did my all gold B license thinkin I was so smart gettin that Tommykaira...until I got it and realized it was the wrong one lmao. But hey, at least my driving probably improved.

Now when I was looking through my UCD I couldn't help but notice a delightful Red Tommykaira ZZII' 00 with only 142km on it and no switches or upgrades or anything and I can see why you wanna tune this guy. Looks like it'll turn into an absolute beast when your done! I'll place my order shortly.

Haha yeah I did the same thing with the licenses and I was pretty surprised when i received my price....

Excellent! I'm happy you went for the unique look alternative, once I've built it I'll send it as soon as possible, one thing though; are there any colors you wouldn't want me to paint it in? (and feel free to add my psn so I can trade the car faster)
 
Perfect. The only colour I'd avoid is green. Love the colour but I can only see it on the British cars.

I'm looking forward to what you come up with!
