So this car has bothered me for some time, and I thought I'd post the tune I came up with. It took awhile for me to get this car the way I wanted it to be, but when I did, was it ever fun to drive.

Aero: 60/100 (buy a wing option for 200 000 in GT Auto for this)
Trans: just make sure it suits the track
LSD: 5/7/8
Height: -10/-20
Springs: 15.5/17.0
Ext: 10/10
Com: 8/8
Roll: 1/3
Cam: -2.9/-1.8
Toe: 0.05/0.05
Brakes: 8/5

Throttle control is quite important when driving this car. Also, there might be a hint of understeer with the car, but I really haven't had time to fix it yet. If anyone wants to mess around with this, feel free to add in what you did.

Thanks for the tune. Before the tune it had loads of oversteer in third gear. This tune made a world of difference. But Ive noticed when driving le mans cars your really have to respect the throttle more so then in other cars. if you fail to respect the cars power it will bite you.any whom thanks again.

Very good tune :-) .. the Judd is really handly now and damned fast .. at 740pp i turned Monza in 1 26 , skid on ..

i was just tuning this myself today. my tune is very different. I will try your tune now.

Result: your tune was far better than mine. I had far too high diff settings and my roll was 1/1. I was 1/2 expecting to smash my lap record with your settings after afew corners but before the end of the lap I had made a mistake. I got decent lap times after not very long at all. Then I ran some hybrid setting, some of your values and some of mine, so I could identify how come my tune was so bad.

Your settings were great. I don't use ABS so I prefer 7/7 for brake balance. Maybe that will reduce stopping distances if you try it too.

My tune is far improved (thx law) and I will post it in my tuning thread.

I was trying to tune this car last night. A true challenge. I ended up with much higher LSD settings than you and much higher than I normally use in GT5. I am finding that with this car and the Audi Lemans Car, I needed to go higher on LSD settings. Right now at 25/35/5 and still smoking the outside wheel. Not done tuning yet, but thinking about 30/20/5 is my next test.

Loved the setup as a base for my current one. I'm still working on it, but so far, I have the same downforce, LSD, and braking, but my suspension is as follows:

Ride height: -10, -20
Spring rate: 11.0, 13.5
Extension: 6, 6
Compression: 4, 3
Roll bars: 2, 3
Camber: 3.5, 2.3
Toe: -0.51, -0.10

7:18.xxx @ nurb 24hrs...

I have been dialing this car in at various tracks the past weeks. Last stop was at Monza. I found various ways to make this car get around this track. I tuned to 690pp for a League I'm in.

My settings look comparable to yours. After lap after lap at Monza Tire Wear became an issue. I ended up going with harder dampers in the rear and very soft dampers in the front. I also kept brake bias hard in the front with lsd settings of 5/5/20 to reduce wheel spin and to bring more demand out of the brakes. I have my Final Gear at 2.560, this also helps with lower revs and less whell spin too. To further increase wear towards the front and off the back with respect to turning ability I set toe at -.2 in Front and zero in back, kept camber relatively high at 2.8/1.6

I started with stiffer overall suspension with higher toe & camber angles and higher anti-roll bar values. Lap times were impressive but the car couldn't hold a line past 5 laps. With the improvements I made I had the tires burning evenly until 10 laps with way-more consistant lap times and less snap oversteer.

Also another thing I began balancing was aerodynamics. Grip vs. Speed. At Monza with Chicanes I felt that using full aero and barely hitting 200mph but holding great grip on the later turns was a less advantage over the straight line speed of next to minimum aero at 215mph with a stiffer rear to combat tires on the later turns.

In all, stiffer for a hot lap race or softer for a longer race. I have been testing for a 20 lap race. If I was to do a 40 lap race I probably would increase aero 5 points in front and back to help save tires a little and sacrafice some wheel spin even it comprimises top end a few mph's.

LOL I'm tuning Monza with Chicanes at 690pp and hitting 1:35 to 1:37's consistantly. Is that with a Chicane? Its almost hard to believe a car with 50pp less at this range of car is only 10sec off from a full power tune LOL

Despite the bias against using it, these cars were designed to make use of a decent amount of traction control. Try setting it to about 3 or 4 with a toe of roughly (you'll have to fine tune it) -.30/.50, dialing in all the other bits to suit your style, and it should drive like its real world counterparts.

Running my differential at 37/16/19, TCS at 3, and toe at -.32/.52 with the full 1047Hp I was turning pretty consistent 1:29s with the occasional 1:28 on Monza not cutting the chicanes.

I used this car in a mini enduro Monday night, 18 laps. Made one pit at lap 11 lost by 45sec, came in fifth of eleven. Lead car ran 133s all day, top three ran 134s all day, I ran 134s and lots of 135s. But this was at 690pp. I used tcs at lap 7 to 11 to save tires at a loss of 137s laps. Tcs was smart to use as it prevented any spinouts but sufficed time to a toyota gt one and bentley speed 8

I actually started with the tune from your tuning garage spitracer. I used your tune with a higher trans, lower final gear, 5 5 5 lsd, and 5 5 brakes with full aero. But kept your suspension settings, won a lot of races at 650pp n 690pp with it. Thanks bro! I only started fine tuning it to my needs last week for my race at monza.

I just went back and revised my original setup for it with my adjusted diff, toe, and spring rates. Its a lot more smooth now. I will try knocking it down to 690Pp though and see what I can manage there

were are u people getting Camber of like -2.9 and stuff... my campber only goes up to like 0-10...

and doesnt go into the negatives -.-

id seriously like to know this... and im still having problem with back end slipping out..anyone know how to fix?

When you add camber, you add negative camber. Even though it is positive it is still negative.

I've been wanting to run this car on the Real Circuit Tours --> Road Course - Indy. I used the OP base tuning and a few of the reply tweaks that sounded good, but had a ton of understeer. Went back to the OP for Toe Angle, but it was still more understeer than I like (perhaps because I don't have a wheel, just a DualShock 3). Since I don't know jack about tuning, I just kept moving the Toe Angle until the car sliced corners the way I like. I ended up with a mix of settings from this page that lets me Power Limit down to 654 HP (62.5%) and still win the race for an easy 1.5M credits:
