Revolution Studios :: Extracurricular

Damn, very nice Rev 👍 I always thought the opening of the chase in the film where they flash the bonnet, air vents and wheels was like car porn

It's about freaking time :D

This should be an example, to all users, on how to seamlessly manipulate photos. Nothing looks even slightly out of place, not only could you fool people into thinking the DBS is in GT5... you could convince them it's turned into a vehicular combat sim! You've added all the details; the vents, the diffuser, the duck-tail spoiler, even the number plates, and there's been no sacrifices in either adding these details, or in the composition of the images, as they all stand on their own in that regard too.

Quite simply, this sets the bar. Don't wait so long for the next update :)

Too bad the guys from the movie used a G36C, whereas the guy in your Alfa has an MP5 :sly:

best manipulating I have seen so far 👍👍

jBhIpS - Cheers :sly:
FishyJuice - Thanks! For those interested, the gunman in the Alfa is actually lifted from a screenshot for some old-timey Mafia game, I gave him a dinner jacket and a machine gun :P
eugene2023 - Thank you!
Nato_777 - Thanks Nato :)
725 - Thanks 725! I love that intro too, almost my favourite part of the film!

20832 - Thank you! Glad you like the set!
Ph1lmar - Wow, er, good eye! I know very little about guns :P Thanks!
arsenal1992 - Thank you! I do wish there was actually a DBS in GT5. Would save me a bunch of time. ;)
bmxmitch - Cheers mitch :)

@all - Thanks to the 50 who voted for my Elise shot in the Tournament qualifier! I'll upload that plus possibly a couple more from that set to this gallery soon!

I actually tried to recreate this scene myself the other day, but I really struggled with capturing the photos (I tried using the 'open' tunnel at Deep Forest). Glad I didn't do it now, as yours is just perfect!

Here's the set featuring my current Tournament Entry, of a low-as-it-goes Audi TT cruising around High Speed Ring. Enjoy!

rpanico14 - It's a tricky look to nail down, sort of dark and moody but with a soft golden light in the highlights... in trying to figure out what filters to put over it I was constantly going back and forwards with paused stills from the movie intro :P The Deep Valley tunnel isn't bad, but it's quite open and wide, the narrower and more enclosed Eiger tunnel is a bit closer I think! I'd love to see what you did anyway, post them up! :P
chromatic9 - Thanks! It's all about the details ;)

These are all soooo good. The toning is perfect and I love the reflections on shot 4. 👍

Great work on the new set, and the 007 shots are outstanding!

Just realised there isn't a DBS in GT5... now that makes that really impressive!

You must have had some good donor pics in the same angle! 👍

Beautiful shots, mate. The 4th shot has the most amazing reflections, and that makes it so perfect! 👍

Fantastic update, Rev. I like the 1st shot the most.

High Speed Ring has some really great lighting, which seems almost under appreciated.

Now, is there a rhyme or reason as to the color scheme? To me it is reminiscent of cross-process or lomo-photography. Not to say that it's bad in any way, I just grow a little weary of some of the photographic clichés, you know?

You have now make me Want to buy the old TT....great 'advertising'

I bought it in Papaya Orange...wasn't impressed by the interior (satisfactory):yuck: but it handled very good in rainy Nurburgring, stock with comfort soft and no aids except ABS 1 :) what modifications did you add to the TT?
