That elusive grip - very good term for it.
And, as IMZIZ said, "squirrelly" ... at times yes.
But very fun - thanks guys!! :D

Much excitement... I was really working hard to keep up with you ID_Racing on Deep Forest. And I imagined you watching me in the rear-view spin out on the final turn of the race... and having a good chuckle, because you were waiting for it...
Knowing sometimes I not only spin out, but careen into the pit lane by mistake.
That last turn @ Deep Forest. It gets me often... particularly in the Elan!!

Sorry about your connection problems cc570! I was looking forward to racing you on Rome, because I know it's your specialty! We always have fun on Rome & Rome Reverse. That's such a funny track. (I like it a lot in karts as well.)
And particularly since you were being a hero today w/ the ABS off & such.
My abs off racing is often so much faster... but so less consistent that I'm embarrassed to do it in public! But at some point we have to do a no-abs race.

TyrrellRacing: Sorry you couldn't make it - maybe next time!

And of course congrats to Johnnypenso!

Yes, very clean racing, and some very close racing.
And mixing it up with the RGO always makes for a bit of added excitement...
(Even though I get rather nervous about starting up front when I know I really don't belong there. hahaha.)
Plus, it makes for spending more time racing & less time waiting! :D
And yeah, I do try to keep to a schedule. I think we did well on that today.

FYI - next week's car is better behaved! but an enjoyable drive! And a fine lookin' car. :D Plus, it's available for sale now in the OCD.

The car and track selection was fantastic. I had a blast running with Yuri in his lounge just before heading to Punch's place. Not sure what my problem was in the first race. I felt like I just didn't have the grip I had in Yuris...hitting the walls in all the spots I never did before. Was having plenty of fun before all of that though. I knew DF was going to be a bad showing for me, I have never grown real fond of that track for some reason (reverse isn't too bad). Laguna was great, a track that I enjoyed. Looking forward to future runs. The Sunday afternoon is tough, but will try and make some more. I love the older cars like this with no tuning.
