now...after the first 90deg bend to the left, it looks clean, but from inside the car it definately sounds as if there has been a tail wag to the wall. But i can not see it so for the now, your good:tup:

i had another look. I think it's clean so i'll stand by my submission. Glad you mentioned it though, gave me a chance to play with the photomode and figure all that out.
Btw i'm still new to gt5 (obvious in my times i think ), is there a way of doing a slow motion advance or reverse once paused? Couldn't see it anywhere. And you mentioned before that you were inside the car, how did you do that?

I've had a chance to review kavu2003's lap and discuss it with the WRS admin team, and with respect visible contact with the wall following turn 2, both kavu2003, and btcanon are correct - The car does not have any visible contact with the wall.
I'll explain why I've highlighted 'visible'.
Here's the pic from ~17.463:

The car never gets closer to the wall than this.
However, btcanon is correct, there is a definite audible "thump" heard from the interior view cam.
After I turned up the volume, the sound of wall contact was present in virtually all views. The roof top -reverse cam is the best example.
From some cam views, it sounds like a car generated sound (gear change, etc.), but it is actually the car coming into contact with an "invisible wall".

After reviewing the lap in the Data Logger, it is clear the car did in fact 'hit' an object:
DataLogger.jpg

At the exact moment the impact sound is heard, indicated by the yellow arrow, the RPM drop and 'skip' in Latreal G's confirm the contact (accelerator was fully depressed, and there was no gear change).

It's now apparent that there is in fact an invisible wall between the 2nd and 3rd turn in the London reverse track, and it seems to have to do with the 'break' in the barrier wall indicated by the arrows in this pic:
London_4.jpg

Unfortunately, contact with an invisible wall disqualifies a submitted lap.
I say 'unfortunately' because it's kavu2003's first event, and submitted lap.
I'm certain he did not knowingly submit a 'dirty' lap, just as I'm certain he was not aware of the 'invisble walls' that are present on some tracks.
However, the rules are in place for a purpose, and there are no exceptions with respect to contact, so the original green flag posted by btcanon has been overturned.

I must add too that if any driver reviews a lap that seems questionable for any reason, that driver should contact an admin before posting a clean / dirty lap review.
A WRS administrator (EDK, Speedy, MadMax86, Sjaak, Gravitron, WRP001, Hydro) will always available to review lap replays if requested.
We are also available to review laps before the submission deadline should any driver feel his lap is questionable, and requests a pre-submission review.

That sucks...bad. Sorry for not running it up the ladder first, now I know for the future. It really stinks that there is nothing there but a bit of invisible program glitch.

Both vehicle visuals and times correct. 👍

No need to apologize, it's rare that invisible walls come into play, and I had no idea one was there either until the lap was reviewed.
Seeing as the car is visibly away from the wall by over a foot, there was little to indicate contact and it's completely understandable that you thought it was clean, and kavu didn't notice it at all.

Yeah, but I could hear it, just never occurred to me to look for it in the data logger.

Sorry for the hold up!
