Purpose:
This is to bring more attention to the hidden Autosport within GT known as Drag Racing. There has been very little done to add to this segment of Auto Racing within GT and if we have enough momentum with this maybe others will see why the Drag Racing community wishes to have "trees" and other modifications to the game to help add to our experience. Please share this contest with your friends and help to get the word out.

I haven't put much time into mine yet. Unfortunately for me I haven't begun really trying to learn ff's yet lol.

Take note to everyone that is in North America and observes Daylight Savings time. First, please remember to set your clocks FORWARD 1 hour before you go to bed tonight.

To those that observe Daylight Savings, this affects the hour you are in compared to GMT. If you are EDT daily reset is now 8pm EDT (the equivalent to 00:00 GMT).

I hope you all are enjoying setting up the FF car this week. Also remember you get one point just for submitting a time and this is a Racing Series so points matter. Participation regardless of final outcome will still help your overall ratings 👍

I would like to announce that the very kind and generous CEO of Fest0r Industries has made a generous contribution to the prize pot for this event. He has donated a $10 psn card to be awarded to round 3's winner! He has also donated a $20 psn card to be given as a grand prize at the end of the series! I hope to see everyone participating so you have a shot at these prizes. These prizes are in addition to our already generous selection. 👍

I would like to thank fest0r on behalf of myself, ryanerb, and the entire drag racing community. Thank you sir for all you do!

We look forward to seeing you all in our current and future events and would like to wish you all the best of luck. 👍

I think I'm on pace to break the record for slowest car evar! My 0-60 time for this heap is 4.413. It's proving to be a good learning experience for me though. 👍

4.114 right now. I had 4.110, but the ET was slower so I had to back off the tune.

I'm still baffled by this contraption lol. I'm taking a day off from it and starting anew. Maybe with a fresh mind and a different approach I can make more sense of it lol.

Contraption is a good word for it...

I may give it a shot and toss a time in here to see what I can do with a FF.

lol... my best 1/4 mile time equates to a 0-60 in 5.074 right now

Beat that! 👍

Ehh, I got a 4.744 0-60 on my last best 1/4 run.

Its like trying to push a brick up the road with no wheels

Honestly with this car I think the 0-100 times are almost more indicative of the result than the 0-60... but then again the trap speed isnt much over that

I will share my tune for the heck of it. Its not good as you see with the times but as a circuit racer maybe it may contribute something somewhere to help someone (or maybe not)

4 - 1.238
5 - 1.016
Final - 4.009
Top Speed - 130
Calculated TS - 126

Mods all mods High RPM Range Turbo

I was getting close times with the Supercharger but with less wheelspin on the launch. I was loosing time with that though through the other gears (about .10 seconds slower with the Supercharger)

Im happy with the tune overall from a circuit perspective and think it would be a decent tune like this on Tskuba (yes I went there with that lousy track... but hey the track and the car match ;) )

Edit: 2 laps on Tsukuba and I got a 1.00.117.... Not bad for that track and 2 laps... lol... yup not a bad Tsukuba tune for this car (oh and about 4 beers so I could have hit the corners a bit cleaner)

Kids, I'd like to point out that the sponsors of this event do not condone drinking and driving. But if you insist, keep it confined to video games. That way you don't kill anyone.👍

I agree. Also, dont drive your cars like this in real life either except in designated race areas. Drag Racing, Drifting and "Time Trialing" on the street can get you killed and especially if intoxicated. ONLY do this at HOME!

Fastest 0-60 for me was 4.100 flat but my 0-100 times are much better with 0-60 times around 4.116 which also gave me my best 1/4 mile time. It's a trade off it seems. Small changes to 2nd and 3rd gears really make a big impact on 0-60 times

First time GT5 drag racer here :scared: I look forward to learning a ton and participating in this. Current 0-60 time is 4.60-ish, amazed to see some of you in the 4.10 range...wow.

Keep at it. You'll get there! I'm a good way off from those times myself lol. FF's are tricky to say the least. Look forward to your submission and future participation! 👍

nice:tup: my best now from 0-60 was 4.107 but as you said 0-100 is better when it is around that range (4.116 give or take) its seems like we will both have tight times as my 0-60 was 4.112 cant wait for results lol

Yeah, could be real close, I'm done with mine, every tiny little change makes my quarter time slower. 4.108 is my final 0-60
