This is the track and car pairing with tire restrictions for that car and track. This table also shows the order of the races. To see the actual schedule/results with dates click here

How will the NASCAR Motegi race be run? Stock setups or the custom use we done during the oval races this season?

Still up in the air. We did some testing yesterday with it and default setups were interesting. Felt like a true NASCAR oval. If we do that though wear will probably be turned off as it was really hard on the right side tires

I seen people hitting the 28 sec range with a great setup but most likely killing the tires. Best I have done is around high 29s if I get a great lap.

With default tune at 808 HP on mediums we were in the 31s. The racing at that time block was good and we had a lots of side by side racing. We worry that allowing setups and getting down into the 28s may make the racing bad like it has been at indy of recently.

That may be the best way to go. The track is wide enough for great side by side racing and it will keep this series motto of keeping things equal for the drivers.👍

I say we keep it default tuned, biggest reason in past we allowed tuning was basically to tune the tranny and not redline with all the draft around indy and daytona. Tire wear is could still be discussed as you as a driver would be soley responsible in how ur tires look. I easily was able to go 10 laps on mediums, could of gone more, by not redding my tires in the corners. Although it was very easy to be at the borderline of turning em red or not. I see people pushing their cars a ton cuz tire wear is off, so everyone will have to drive right and not ruin others races.

I agree with the default tuning. Seemed to result in some good side by side racing between you, king and myself. The wear is definitely debatable. I like having it where you must conserve your tires other wise people will drive way too hard and 10 was definitely do able. But I feel that we would still be pitting a lot and make take away from the overall fun of the oval. Wear or no wear I think that one pit stop should be mandatory either way though. Just my opinion

Atleast we have a while before we get to that oval race so we have plenty of time to figure it out :)

Running on Racing Hards could be a way that keep the tires going for a longer period.

I'm getting on to play around with cars around TRM. You should join me ;)

Btw here is the bit link for this series so we can pass it around to people: bit.ly/GTRRLTCCS

Forgot to say if any of you all have questions or concerns just let us know. To sign up just say your name, Psn and we'll get you signed up

Updated some things in the OP and updated the drivers list. We now have 11 drivers committed. The rooms will hold 15 and any over that will spill into a room b so there is unlimited openings. When you sign up you also can either join a team or make your own.

Drivers with TBA in team list are free agents. Teams limited to 3 drivers.

Looking forward to this series next year a lot of different cars and tracks should be interesting.

Yep. Definitely going to be a fun casual series like this past season. This series prolly had better racing then our other series due to the defualt tunes

I'm in, really like the no tuning thing, even if you bang the limiter here and there. #80 please.

Thanks

some HP on cars will be lowered from defualt, prohibited tuning your still allowed to adjust power limiter on engine, we'll set an HP to where we'll use all the gears up and not ground out the engine even with drafting.

That works, sounds good. I guess changing oil is ok since power may be limited equaling stuff out.

Yeah still change the oil on the car. And allow it to break in as well. From there all that the game will allow you to adjust on default tune is power limiter and brakes.

Just a reminder the last race of our current season is this friday at le mans in the lexus is f rm 07'. make sure to break it in. Believe we'll be running HP around 414, still to be tested.

We are almost a week away guys so make sure you have your RX7's ready for Indy

10-4 rx-7 is one of my favorite TC's unfortunately I cant make the last race of the current season so thats a bummer but hopefully ill make most races next season :)
