Welcome to the Official Announcement and Recruitment for the NEW up and coming CORE GT Series​

The CORE GT Series will be returning in GT6.

The series will under go some major changes - It will be renamed, will feature shorter 'sprint' 10/12 lap double races each week.

The series will use fixed tuning, but allow a range of cars, we won't be limited to one make racing initially.

More details will be available when we know what online options will be added to GT6's online mode

Once you have chosen your Club Car, this is what you will use for the full season along with your Acura NSX RM.

Since the Club Racing this season allows for a greater range of cars, the PP of 455 allows the individual to choose what parts to fit or what weight reduction to apply. It's not always about max tuning then trying to get your car into 455 via the Power Limiter!

Believe me, I've done my testing! :eek:

I think this will add a nice dimension to the season, from Championship races in the same car, with the same tuning, to a real mixed grid with lots of different tuning will really bring something to the Club events. I Can't wait! 👍

[Tip] Keep your Club Car under wraps until we have our first Club Meet, as this will be the car we use for all Club events, you don't want to give the competition any ideas :sly:

We're onto the run down to the start of Season 5, so now would be a good chance to join in for the start only a few more days to get onto the leaderboard 👍
 
Im interested just looking at everything trying to understand how this club car thing works.

Edit: It looks like yall will race on Fridays at 3:30pm EST which would be perfect for me so im in. And i would like the Number 3 and chrome orange on chrome orange.

Just choose ANY production car (no concept/tuned/race cars) from the UCD then tune it to 455 PP, this will then be used on the weeks we race the Club events (see the main thread)

With only 2 days to go and only 3 spaces left, this brings a temporary end to this thread (I will use it again for recruitment for Season 6 towards the end of the year)

So a big thankyou to all who visited and left comments. Those who joined I'll see you on Friday (don't worry anyone can still join even after the start of the series, 3 spaces still up for grabs!)

As you will see, we are having an exciting season! Season 6 will commence in the new year ( Mid Jan 13 ) as this season finishes on 16th Nov 12, there will be a break for the holidays but I plan on running 2 Endurance specials using the cars from Season 6 during the break 👍

So if anyone would like to join for Season 6, by all means contact me! :)

Or even if you just fancy warming up with us, there are 2 spaces available in the current season... Just sign up over on the main thread ( link in sig)

I definently want to join, S5 was epic :D

Crap, the MX-5 TC. I don't have the funds for that car pack and I probably won't buy it for only one car. Sorry. I wanna see the Club spec car though :D
