This thread is a link for any tuners or drivers that want to post or find a tune for any given car at whichever PP they desire, to run and post for the Nurburgring lap time board found here.
General tuning discussion, etc is perfectly fine as long as it's kept semi-orderly and not hateful.

Rules:
- The lap must be run in GT Mode : Practise : A-spec Free Run (driving in this mode will put miles on your car, change oil when you are noticing a loss of power (or don't)).

- Engine and chassis overhaul allowed.

- Oil change allowed

- SRF (skid recovery force) not allowed, other aids are allowed, grip has to be set to REAL.

- Tire Wear and Fuel Depletion (New for Spec II): OFF.

- On your first submission, a video of the lap using a driving view, or the replay file, may be required. If the lap seems too quick we may ask for a video as well.

- Videos are welcome! We will add them to the sheet.

- Must use 2.08 version of GT5.

- You may fit any car into any PP bracket you desire, by any means within the game that I am currently aware of. Any ballast, PL, Aero, etc.

- The tire grade required for each PP level is listed below, there are no exceptions.

SPREADSHEET HERE Where you can see all lap times for all categories of both Nurburgring threads.
(*Alphabetical list only shows stock cars from the 'production' and 'Race/Non-production ALL STOCK' categories).

Only the fastest laps for each car at a given PP will stay on the board.

Time Submission Format:
06:41.119 - Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 '09 - 600PP/RH (CSLACR) NEW,BEATEN or UPDATED
You Must type a time submission in this exact format, including the 0 on times less than 10 minutes.
You MUST include the tune used in detail. Power, parts, weight, balance, and all settings.

*Laptimes under 10 minutes require the '0' like this: 05:55.555

All laptimes must be posted in this thread.
Let us know in which category you are posting your new time as well.

We have listed the following categories:
300PP - Comfort Hard Tires(CH)
350PP - Comfort Medium Tires(CM)
400PP - Comfort Soft Tires(CS)
450PP - Sports Hard Tires(SH)
500PP - Sports Medium Tires(SM)
550PP - Sports Soft Tires(SS)
600PP - Racing Hard Tires(RH)

You must submit the time in the format provided in order for it to be added to the leaderboard.

You can also do this in the regular Nuburgring thread found here.

Comments: These specs are without an oil change. To do this, simply don't change the oil on a new car, once it reaches 200 miles, it will fit these specs so long as you don't change the oil.

Awesome Dom!👍 , i will get back on updating the spreadsheet soon, i'll be more involve again at the end of the summer, i just dont want to spend too much time on this when its so nice outside! I will add the no ABS class as well.

I feel "special" being the first to post. :dopey:

I only wish I was better at the ring. This car is capable of much more than I am.

Dont worry about your driving, i have no idea how 7:59 is for 450PP but the way it work ( i assume) every driver will try every tune and the fastest tune will be on the sheet with the tuner's name, you will only see the fastest tune for a given car (correct me if im wrong Dom)

Good to see a first tune! when i will have more time i will try it :)

I was thinking more open-ended. Anyone can try any tune, fastest time/tune go on the sheet.(and OP with a link to the tune)
I just don't want anyone to "have" to drive (or tune) anything. Much like the rest of the board, pick and choose as you please, basically.

Thank you HaylRazor and MrGrado, nice work, and good formats.👍

Ok i see now, every tune will be displayed with their fastest time, so you can see how faster a tune is vs the other... sounds good :)

How is that?

I assume those are all the settings possible for the Kart, in which case it's good to go.👍

I am curious why you would add ballast, not that I know much about karts, but you have some PP to spare...

If you can keep this thing on the track without Ballast , you can beat the time at least by 10 secs.
So try yourself.
btw I only did 1 lap (1st lap). On a flying lap , I guess I can do 5secs better.

.

Can I make a request? :) If anyone wants to compare the M5 against the Z06 C6 at 550pp I would be very interested to see what's faster.

Dont worry, with time every car will be displayed with their time. :)

Only the fastest lap with each car at a given PP will be shown to avoid a mass amount of similar laps.

So basically, all the times Mike runs with a given tune and the scraps left for the rest of us....?

I'll see how many of mine will fit into the PP/tire reqs....probably not many yet.

The Outlaw Motorsports Garage tunes
Toyota Sprinter Trueno GT-APEX '83, "Sunshine Express Nur175"
Recently CSLACR announced his Nürburgring Nordschleife PP laptime boards. This is an intriguing concept that differs from the other Nordschleife laptime boards because it has set PP limits and tire selection is dictated by the PP. Now having just tuned the "Sunshine Express" for a 450PP event featuring the newer Toyota 86 family you might expect Ol'Harvey Wallbanger to run it as his first entry for CSLACRs lists. But a couple things happened that led to this version instead. First was that PD brought back the Japanese 80s seasonal featuring a 420PP limit and comfort soft tires. Second was Ol'Harvey spending a bit of leisure time watching some Initial D. Now removing the Turbo and a few other minor changes easily got the car down to 420PP where even on the lower grade tires it proved to be both an easy car to win with and a lot of fun. Sticking with the comfort soft tires and further limiting it down to 400PP seemed like a great idea. Along the way Ol'Harvey inspired by the early version of Takumi's car in Initial D decided to make it closer to that version so a few changes were made not for the sake of improved performance but for more aesthetic reasons. The biggest change was to limit the amount of ballast used to only enough to bring it back to its stock weight. This decision meant less power from the engine and altered the weight distribution some, but with only minor adjustments to the suspension provide a very easy to drive and fun car. Where the "Sunshine Express" is a razor sharp time attack machine that requires full concentration and a masters touch on the controls to extract its awesome potential, this is a much more relaxed drive that isn't as quick to punish you for the slightest of reasons. Hopefully you will all find this as much fun to drive as the Wallbanger has.

Notes: This car is nearly perfect for driving with an automatic transmission and using a manual transmission is likely to only produce marginally better times.

Note 2: Ol'Harvey Wallbanger recorded a rather sedate 8:51.480 lap of the ring. Better drivers should be able to knock a considerable chunk off that time.:gtpflag:

Enjoy the ride and as Harvey Wallbanger always says...
Drive hard and have fun!:cheers::gtpflag:

Sure the Wallbanger car is the best and this is great idea  :dopey:

I happen to have both of you on at least 1 of my friends lists, do either of you have the Toyota's on share? That's how I plan to do most of my driving that isn't my own tune, via sharing.(I hate installing tunes)

But I'll definitely give them a whirl if they're shared.

I have my "Sunshine Express" on share from the Toyota 86 Shootout.
You'll need to remove some parts and adjust things slightly but other than maybe the exhaust it should have everything you'll need for my "Nur175" version I posted here.👍👍

Note the power limiter may not be exactly as listed since the shared car has low mileage, this may also result in a very minor difference in the HP/Torque numbers.:odd:

Looking forward to pitting the first pair against each other. :mischievous:

Desp - Should be no problem, I'll find the way to be at least as close as possible if I can't get it exactly to spec.👍
