I finally got my audi lemans quattro into the 8's. I have it down to an 8.994. Probably doesn't sound like much but it is the result of alot of frustration and blue language.

Sometimes frustration and small gains lead to huge victories.

EDIT

Quick update on the '90 ZR1 has me running 9.810, I'll get it faster but this is sufficient enough for now.

Nice , It's one of those cars that if I leave it for a month I spend most of my time trying to match the time I had before I parked it. When I played with it a couple days ago my first 3 or 4 runs were over 9 seconds, As a result it took over 8 months to get mine where it's at. Theres a few cars that I forget how to drive them to the tunes potential. As Slash says a lot of tiny gains pays off....patience 👍

I spent 3 months at 9.043. No matter what. I'm very happy being in the 8.9's. I have no clue how people got it into the 8.8's. They have my respect for sure.

You are at 910 hp right ? If you won it it needs breaking in. If its from UCD or OCD then it doesn't.

I always save and race my fastest ghost on speed test, that way you can see exactly where you loose or gain time when making changes to a tune. You'll see when you hold a gear too long. The LMQ is finicky with shift points.

It has 909 for whatever reason. It had 200 miles and will not let ne do another oil change yet. Im not very consistent with my shift points. My ds3 is old and worn out lol

Ok, in the car list it will say 909 but when you go into the tune screen it will say 910. Don't know why but it's like that for a lot of cars.

It runs a 8.994 with a WOT launch at ssrx. If I wait until the one starts to fade then floor it I can dip as low as 8.962. I just wish I could replicate that at Indy lol.

I got my Le Mans to 8.950 the first day I started tuning it (yesterday) but, now it is very hard and frustrating to get it lower. I also have great respect for those draggers out there who can get it to 8.8

^^^ Are you guys shifting it right? Shift it around 7300 RPM

I found the LeMans to be a basic 4WD car, had no problem getting it into 8.89s

karo whats faster the '00 SS or the '97 Z28? i'm pretty sure that the z28 is but im not sure, dont have them with low miles.

Z28 can do 10.1s I believe
Some Aussie dude said he has 10.119 on his but he hates wings so his online tune does 10.15x

Ya I herd the Z28 was faster but I don't have one. I saw the SS so I got it and threw a tune on it.

The Opel has 383 hp. It's the ULTIMATE SLEEPER!!!!
Nice to see you getting some new times up.

it is but only by about a tenth. The Ss will run with a poorly tuned z28 all day though if not beat it.

As far as I know Dom yes. That is a great time there. I wonder if it can touch 8.1s

Just when I thought I was gaining ground on Karo's time he puts that up, damn impressive, I think it will see 8.1's eventually.

I don't know about 8.1 but it could be possible maybe. I'll have to play with my camber and toe setting because my 8.898 aventador had like a tiny bit of toe like a rear wheel drive car - in the frot and some + in the rear. My aventador also had like 0.7 front camber to get some front wheel spin for a faster launch.

Was pretty happy with this considering the weight and aero differences :) .. Can't wait to get my hands on the '12 Tuned Academy :)

I use to run between -.10 and 0 on the front for majority of my high powered AWD but they don't change anything. That much toe makes zero difference.. Also trialled camber on AWD and the drive wheels on FR/MR.. Again, only under the 1.00.. But that much, through my testing, made no difference. I don't tune for a timed launch anymore. All the times I run now are full throttle..
