Since November 2010 I've been a presenter for a Radio Station based in Kent, England called 107.8 Academy FM. I love doing what I do and I present a request show between 6 and 9PM BST called 'Your Shout!'. I'm always happy to give people shout-outs and play their requests if they're reasonable. Other ways of listening to us on the go include via your iPod/iPhone and Smart Phone. All you need to do is download an app called "TuneIn Radio" and search for "Academy FM Thanet" and that's it. Just make sure you have a WiFi connection otherwise you may incur a charge.

It is sir, the normal presenter is on holiday. The same applies to Wednesday.

Bringing this back as 107.8 Academy FM Thanet had their Christmas Party last night with some awards and I won one!

I won 107.8 Academy FM's 'Student Broadcaster of the Year 2012' last night! So this essentially is a massive Thank You from myself. I would like to give my thanks mainly to a certain Peter Willson, Mike Stevens and Patrick Boniface, without you three there is no way I would be on air right now. To those who have been right there from the start and supported me along the way, namely Mr. Howard Evans. Not forgetting those who I've only recently met or interviewed, it is a pleasure to work with you! If I've missed you out then I apologise, but there are way too many to mention. Have yourselves a great Christmas and a fantastic New Year! (See, I do have Christmas spirit!)

This is cool. I also used to run a radio program when I was at uni, it was focused on cover songs, and we also won an award because of the show's concept, so I know how you feel. Congrats, bud!!
