No, I mean it's great that you got it, but I'm very intrigued by this seasonal now. I just haven't gotten on since the weekend, and that was taken up by the races.
99% chance I'll toy with it tonight.

Don't know if you've been keeping up with the seasonals lately, if ever, they're mostly cash/xp cows, but you may be surprised at how difficult the tsukuba race is when you get the "fast" AI grid. The rest of the races in the series were easy mode by comparison.

Ok here is the tune I ended Mt. Aso with.

Installed Parts:
Chassis Reinforcement
Fully Customizable Transmission
Clutch: Twin Plate
Flywheel: Semi-Racing

Transmission:
First Gear: 3.574
Second Gear: 2.589
Third Gear: 2.068
Fourth Gear: 1.638
Fifth Gear: 1.282
Sixth Gear: N/A
Seventh Gear: N/A
Eighth Gear: N/A
Final Gear: 3.326
Top Speed (MPH): 112
Top Speed (KPH): 180.247

Notes:
"Trans sequence;
1. Set to Default
2. Set Top Speed to Min
3. Set Final to Max
4. Set Gear ratios
5. Set Final to indicated above"

For the first four races in the seasonals I ran higher camber front and back. Think it was 1.5/1.0 but since I wasn't keeping track while I was running these, it may have been higher and I've since forgot. I reduced it for Mt. Aso after a couple runs thinking since the corners had some severe camber perhaps my tires could use less. It seemed to work because my PB went from 1:22.xxx to 1:19.xxx on the final lap of the race I won. Car is still fairly loose under braking and acceleration but so long as I was not overzealous with either it seemed stable at sensible speeds. Took me 4 full race runs with a few crash restarts in between. Only other adjustments I made was to the final gear so I was just under the rev limiter for the longest straight for each track. For Sarthe I didn't actually test, just ran the final til the top speed indicated was 150 I think and the first long straight I would hit the rev limiter just before braking. Since I won the race first try I saw no sense in making further adjustments and went on to Mt. Aso.

Let the laughter begin.

So I'm wondering why you chose this car... It needs so much limiting/ballast to make this PP. So that's actually the bulk of the difficulty, because 420PP achieved through all that limiting and weight makes the car equal to a 400-410PP car at best.

Camber is more dependent on how you steer than anything. Camber increases/decreases with steering input, the harder you're turning the wheel, the more camber you can use.

I ran the race 3 times against the wicked MX5.
Lost the third race by .434.:ouch: PB was lap 5 of race 3, 1:06.6xx. I'm sure I could get it with more practice, but it is certainly a task.:)

It appeared more interesting than anything else in my '80s Nippon stable. Not to mention the first time I took it for a spin it rotated pretty much by thinking about it. Not a big fan of 80s cars anyway and this one didn't make me go "ho-hum". I admit that holding down the PP for it is troublesome and after every full run I was reducing the power 1 or 2 clicks to stay within PP limit, since it was a 0/0/0 car when I started this little exercise.

It's no big deal if you don't want to goof around with it. I was just getting really frustrated trying to tune the over-steer out of it, that first night I tried the seasonal, so plead for help.

I'm sure your next race or 2 would see you puttin' a whuppin' on that MX5. I don't want to think how many times I lost the race until I hit that seasonal forum and found out you could cycle the AI until a grid popped that was easier to deal with. The MX5 is beatable with several cars for the driving deities such as yourself but for the rest of us mortals, getting a weak grid was pretty much the only way for us to win. Thanks for the tune. Will install it tomorrow and take it for a spin and see if I can better my results.

Well, I think you'll find the tune above much more planted, for whatever you desire to use it for. I'm sure it could be used in the 500PP FR seasonal as well. Maybe PL it around 450PP and see how it does.

Ran that tt tonight with your tune on the fr-s. Used my 500pp Camaro with your tune + a minor tweak or two of my own for the Daytona tt. I do seasonals for gear and cars.

Running online series, with you and the crew from the ones I've run so far, is more than challenging enough for me.

Nice. That's two cars I think I asked you about now that you liked. 👍

Not to sure about the sound of the car myself, but it's better than the FR-S samples. Haven't found a car yet that makes me want to turn up the volume like that RM Camaro does.

Gonna go start the format one of my new hard drives for PC and hit the rack. Catch up tomorrow.

Road on!

Hi Dom,
Can I request for tunes with all assist off. (ABS 0)
Thx a lot

Well, a couple people have driven my tunes without ABS by simply adjusting the BB and given good reviews. It's the easier way to do it, but I might very well start giving BB's for without ABS to go with tunes, it should certainly change some cars, you're right.

For existing tunes just adjust the BB and they should still work fine, but for new tunes coming out I'll check them out without ABS on to see what I find.

I do have an NSX R and Camaro SS on the edge of completion to try it on.

Thank you very much Dom. I appreciate all the effort you put in for us here. I will wait for the said cars to be ready and eagerly waiting to try it. Actually I speak better than texting, that's why my quotes are always very short. Lol

One thing, I remember testing a car and running 4/0 and liking it, so if it seems happy to lock the rears, it was probably this car.
I think it was the NSX though.(Which is finished and coming tonight)

Ok, now my car is set, now going for a ride in it. ABS 0 BB 4/0. This is interesting.

Handles like a FF car. Wonderful tune for me. BB at 4/0 was perfect too for ABS 0. Under steer a bit but easy to handle. Btw I'm running on RH. Our races are limit to RH mostly.

Handling seems to be better now. Getting faster too. Thank you on the BB. 4/0 never came to my mind at all. Great

Bro, I heard you got burnt on the X Factor the other night, for using auto tune on all your cars :mischievous:

Sorry for spamming your place up, couldn't help myself...

That's Demi Lovato, apparently being blasted by a member of the public for using auto tune. It amused me as she's your avatar and the whole music/car tuning thing ......... just me..?? Ok, sorry, obscure sense of humour...
