I don't think I came out of that very well... Sorry again ^^ that was my first ever race with a wheel :c and I think you can tell. Was a great laugh though
Great pics Ominius!!
Going to test a few other cars out for club car tonight. Just to make sure i got best car for me.
Edit: Found another car i like, ran a 1:12.406 with it. Decisions decisions which car to choose. Think i will do some more looking at different cars till i can hit a 1:11 lmao.
Thanks for the advice I'll give it a try. My real problem is oversteer, I simply cannot hold a slide and always spin... So any oversteer and I'm facing the wrong way...
I have always tried to help anyone with setups. In the GTRRL league i help run i have gave the exact setup i use to a bunch of guys. Anything to help people out and make racing closer the more fun the racing is and more challenging which in turn will make me better.
REQUIRED CAR - Club Racing/Northlander

Just to clarify the cars 'not' allowed - as in not in the spirit of Club Racing. I said No Race, Tuned, Custom or Concept. 3 out of the 4 are straight forward and I don't think anyone has any doubts as to what UCD cars would fall into those catergories...
The one that seems to be causing slight problems is what I mean for the 'Tuned' cars. Prehaps I should have specified it as Tuned/Custom...for example - RUF = Production (as there is no Porsche in GT5), NISMO = Tuner etc...
These are the cars that either were never Homologated or were built in very small numbers - under 200, or purely built for racing then a handful were built to 'homologate' them.
Cars not to be confused as Tuned are 'Performance' models from within a car range from a manufacturer, so the Ford Focus RS, Honda Civic Type R, or Renault Clio V6 etc...
The spirit of Club Racing are cars that you could see as 'mass market/everyday use' that we then tune for racing, be it a base model or a performance model, provided they are not - Race derived, Tuned/Custom, or Concept.
I hope that this clarifies what manufacturer/vehicles are now allowed 👍
Also Omnius great pictures once again, glad I made it into a few pictures thanks to the few battles I had with Ade.
I have two cars i like now but run almost identical times with them. What to do what to do.
Speaking of club cars, I'll be opening an online room soon to test about 25 cars if any of you want to join me and do the same. Since i don't have a preference of car yet i just thought I'd let you guys know and maybe we could help each other with tuning problems were having 👍 Doesn't bother me if all of you join or none just thought i'd tell you.
New fastest time around Grand Valley Reverse: 1:11:920
yes i was there and seen it (in a race also)
we've got some fast car now
dowlin 1:11.920
bograt 1:12.428
as OMNIUS would say thats a big slap with a gauntlet
Well i find that this site helps me if I'm stumped on what to do with a car. It's a site with links to every tune in gtplanet sorted into each car.Wow last time I looked at this thread my car was fast and come back to see it sucks. LOL. Guess I got some homework to do. Might just need to learn to tune the thing. BTW enjoyed the first race on Friday. Hope I can get up to speed to contend by the end of the season. Does anyone know of any good tuning guides for the game? Seems what works in real life doesn't work exactly in the game or at least that's been my experience.
