Hi all!
I'm quite new here... Bought a PS3 about a week ago and been playing GT5 since 4 or 5 days and lovin' it!
Anyway, i've been messing around with the photomode for a few days now and as you can expect, not too experienced with it yet...

Actually one of my very first shots ever.. I personally think it's pretty nice (unedited).

You'll get a general idea on how the Camera works and what shutter speeds, panning modes etc. do!

Only took 4 photos today...

Mini race report:
10 lap race.
[top] Starting grid, I'm starting 4th.

Kinda messed up my start but soon battled for 3rd/2nd.
[middle] Braking into the chicane I managed to out brake and overtake for 1st.

Pulling away pretty quickly in the second corner (counting the chicane as 1) and leaving the others far behind.

Rain came in mid race but the track wasn't getting wet enough to do a tire change. Eventually won the race with about a minute lead on the 2nd place.

All in all a pretty boring race for me, watched the replay and saw the AI having way more fun than I did :dopey:

Car details: PP509, Racing Soft tires, adjustable suspention and rear wing. Pretty much stock... If anyone wants to do some GSX-R/4 racing, let me know.

Just spent some time on the Nordschleife with my race prepped VW 1200 '66. Lapped the green hell in 11:18.023

Just over 11 minutes of driving and ~40minutes of taking a bunch of pictures :$ Pics will but up later today!

Oh.. and after some major setup changing.. I managed a 9:02.066, could have done better but had some minor trips trough the grass during the lap..

I think I've got a bad case of Beetle fever :scared:

Here's today's shots!

First hit the trails.. she handles pretty nicely in the dirt, but it ain't my thing... So only 1 shot...

After a good washing she was ready to hit the tarmac.. Well.. Most of it...

From another angle... It's a pretty long flight! The crowd loves it!

Like it's glued to the road...

Caught something on camera that took me ages...

Cutting the corners as tight as possible...

No flowers were hurt during this shoot... Well, not real ones at least xP

I actually beat my previous best time I had set with my GT86!

When I look at all my Beetle 1200 '66 shots, I feel like there's something missing... The car look too 'racy' for a street car and too 'ordinary' for a race car... I think it needs at least some racing number plates and a roll cage 👍

Today I thought it was time for something completely different and what's more different (for what I've done so far) than...

Dare I say it...

Going electric...? :scared:

As I was going trough my garage I noticed I owned a Leaf! :dopey:

and since I had some credits to burn (I'm bad with money, even the virtual kind :crazy:

) it would be a fun 'project'.

So I took the Leaf out for a spin and actually found it pretty hard to drive.. not having the engine noise and not having to shift gears made me enter corners waaayyy too fast.
Anyway, after getting used to it, it was time to -as I said- burn some credits! So after throwing on all available upgrades money can buy, I needed a decent setup -not that there's much to 'set up' on this car-, but couldn't find one ~~didn't look hard enough~~, so I threw on pretty much the same setup I have on my beloved Beetle! (there isn't much else to 'tune' on this car btw) Which came from user 'praiano63' -Many thanks for the setups btw!-. Anyway, the setup works pretty nicely on the Leaf too!

After the setup, the car still looked 'meh'... so some cosmetic changes were very needed! Which were quickly done in GTauto. All it needed now was an awesome color! And what is more awesome than matte black? ~~fluorescent orange~~
After I added black rims with a fancy red accent line on it, my Leaf was ready to hit the track in ~~gangnam~~ style!

So here's what became of it.. But keep in mind, these are raw un-edits shots accept for the 'motion blur' effect you can do in the game itself.

So far my best time around the ring is 9:27.890 but I feel there's way more in it...

You are improving, I must agree with lilmann. Remember to focus on the car and scroll the shutter speed down to show speed as well as using panning mode three to create better photos.

The landing after the jump at Eiger Nordwand wasn't pretty :crazy:

For part 2 I thought it be funny to, how should I put this... well, let's put it this way, my arms still hurt :scared:

What I found amazing is how realistic the kart looks :drool:

IMO this Honda is one of the cooles cars ever, so neither odd nor crappy

Nice colour but IMO the wing isn't really fitting the car

It yet again has been a very long time since I poster pictures here... But today I bring you one of my newest favorite cars, the Chrysler 300C! It may be just a standard car and the soft racing tires I have on it may be worth more than the car itself, but I really enjoy racing this car! Used a Clueless tunes set up, but without the 'non-reversable' tuning parts, and some slight adjustments to the gearing and suspension to better suit my driving style.
The pictures are only slightly edited, only the third one has some tweaks that you can add in-game and the fifth has some major Photoshopping going on obviously

(I'm not too skilled at it, but it turned out okay-ish)
