MvM-Season 1

(Original idea by Gonales)

Hi,

This is going on what Gonales said about Drift competitions with Moderators.

Since there are hardly any moderators that drift, I think the best solution would be to mix it up a little. As in Grip racing but with no AIDS and not using racing softs on road cars.

If a Moderator/Member wins a race they will gain a point for there side. If you lose, a point is deducted. First to ten overall is the winner!

E.G Street cars Under 300hp-Comfort softs
Street cars 400 and above-Sports Hard

E.G Race cars GT300 equivalent-Sports Medium to Sports Soft
Race cars GT500 equivalent-Sports Soft to Racing Hards.
Le mans equivalent-Open Tyre restriction.

Dirt or snow(quite obvious) :)

Race rules:

No AIDS(Including ABS)
Use allowed tyres
Race must consist of 10laps or more and Driver must pit atleast once.

Feel free to comment on what times you are available so something can be organized.

Mandatory pit stop, no aids, at least 10 laps...sounds tempting..VERY tempting...

Put me up as a "MAYBE". I'll decide later depending on the time zone of different members. :sly:

Given that there are a relatively small number of mods the odds of getting more than one or two, or any for that matter, are pretty slim. Maybe you could have some drivers volunteer to be on the "mod" side of things, representing the mods, or encourage the mods to nominate drivers in their place to represent them.

There's plenty of OLR Admin moderators that'd probably be down to race. Just check the WRS section.

The Mods that I know of who do race are WRP, Hydro, Speedy and EDK. probably more. Just check the list and send them all PM's. Well you've certainly caught Famines eye so interest by other staff members is possible.

There's all kinds of "wanna be" mods on here lol, it shouldn't be hard to find someone to fill in on their side .

I'm still in training so I'm out, I'd love to see what happens though ;).

My answer is the same as last time; my lack of free time means I don't have the opportunity to delve into the world of drift tuning, and even if it's grip racing, I'm rarely online for long periods of time since I've got a wonky schedule each week.

I imagine some of the other mods may be interested, especially the ones Wardez suggested. I imagine Johnny's suggestion of some regular members volunteering to represent the mods sort of defeats the purpose... but if we're allowed to nominate members to represent us, I call forth Small_Fryz :D
