I've been running this combo way more than I want to admit, and cannot get a faster lap. I've had several .8xx through t2 but my ghost always passes me in t3.

Hopefully I can gain at least a little more before the week is over, just frustrated right now.

Same here lol, I had a one and a half hour session yesterday, but couldn't improve. Tried loads of different suspension settings too.

I was getting a few 57.9s by the end of t2 before the car was fully broken in, but now Im struggling to make 58.0s lol.
About to have hopefully a good 45mins this evening so will try to improve. Good luck beating your ghost in t3.
 
I think I have gone as fast as I can with Chris's tune. Did anyone else develop a tune I can try?

Sorry guys,the four wheels must be a copy paste error.

I think we used it for a special week,only can not remember which one:dopey:

In week 56 and 70, both on Deep Forest,the rule was two wheels .
So also this week, the picture with the flying BMW is clean.

Must have been copy and paste from the combo with the Roadster TC at Trial Mountain Reverse. That's where the 4 tires on track rule was used.

My posting of the picture wasn't in question of the rule as I had assumed it was 2 tires on track as per 99% of the combos have been. I was just shocked that I had gone airborne in a spot where it didn't seem possible.
 
Got the G27 hooked up. Need to modify the rig slightly do to the slight differences between the G27 and the old Driving Force Pro. Pedal board is longer resulting in an awkward angle and it's hard to get the braking down as it is, but I feel it will end up being a much better system than the old one.

First hour got me a couple of tenths in the splits but a half second at the line. Still lots more out there, hopefully with a few tweaks to the rig, I'll find them.

Not sure how much time I will get on this one. Just realized it's Saturday and I've only done 10 laps in the car. If I don't get it to/close to full power, I probably won't submit as I wouldn't have been able to give it my full effort.

Its quite loose, I find its good for the higher speed corners in sector 3, but sector 1 is a bit hit or miss lol. I went for the 'wheelbarrow' style tune that's seemed popular in some of the seasonals - front down, rear up, stiff rear springs and a bit of negative rear toe.

Been very consistent tonight and a little faster, only a little quicker in the splits but a pb 3rd sector gets me 0.3 up at the line. 9 of my 19 laps were faster than my previous posted lap :D

Fetchy wasn't picking up my splits so I have updated them manually,

I started out with Chris' tune but it was way too hard for me, car jumped around and the rear went into a slide when I turn and brake at the same time. I am sure Chris is the man for mastering that setup but I am not :)

No i do not use camber or toe. Whenever I turn them up the car feels too unstable. Might try it again though.

Edit: I hope Fetchy ignores my gear ratios now.

Well I am stuck waiting for the cable tech too show up I have had no Internet for 2 days now. So what better way too kill some time then lay down some laps, and I finally managed too knock some time off this one.

Just had another run, and finally improved. Only a tenth at the line - very shoddy final corner lost me about a tenth as I braked too early.

My gears are pretty much the same as jtv's (I did the same method) except I have the final gear at 3.362, and 6th at 1.027 so its closer to the limiter by the end of the start finish straight.

Nearly a full tenth on the splits, but did not capitalize on it in T3 so only marginal gain at the line!
