As always, everything should be on page 1, with the tables and links to highlights appearing over the weekend following our races.

Interested in seeing what Club Car you go for, as a rough estimate, I think the BRZ is the most selected variant with the 86GT coming second and the FR-S last.

Look what I've just unlocked in the mobile edition of NFS:MW, the iconic M3 GTR from the original game :D 👍 (It must be in the full game too then! :eek: )​
 
1:37.241 for my first session.

At first i practiced on the wrong Kielder Track from S3 and thought, oh no! that stupid last turn jump again...

I'm liking this track, only complaint is that its too narrow in the twisties.
 
I'm gonna have to give it a miss tonight :( My backs been playing up all week and I don't think 2 hours in the seats gonna help it.

Have fun.....
 
well that sucked, got a DC...

guess i have to rethink my settings for wet races as well. just tapping the brakes caused my front to just plow straight ahead.

I was braking very early, had 10/9 Brake bias as well. But very happy with the win :D was great fun and spent ages sideways!

Good race all and I can't wait for S3 now!
 
Well that was an epic race!

Many thanks to the new drivers for attending the pre-season special No.2 👍

As you all saw, when we run endurance races, the weather is left too a 50/50 chance and we all go into it knowing, so if it is too hard, be prepared! We all have different skills on GT5, some good in the wet and some not so...

All in all I like how it can change a race (just like the real world) and although we don't have 'red flags' it is possible to stick it out, plus if we have weather on in the Championship, those races are only 1 hour long and we are on race tyres so the inters and wets are available :)

As for our normal Club Races, even without rain tyres, we only run 2 30 minute heats, so I'm sure everyone can cope with how wet a track can become in that short amount of time.


Many congratulations to Fuelmyfire for the win (and holding on in those Northumberland conditions ;) ) Jammy_Rex also had a belter of a race, over 2 hours on the track and he nailed the 3rd spot 👍

Agreed, what a race that was!! I didn't have a great start but as I got the first 10 laps were under my belt I started to find my pace and begin my battle with Dowlin. That was great fun!

Thanks Omnius :) yeah congrats to fuel on the win! I managed to keep my head in the conditions, but I totally didn't realise about the tyres, I was battling with Dowlin and ahead at the time, but decided to stay out on worn tyres thinking I could change to inters or wets ! But of course when I eventually pitted after losing shed loads of time it dawned on me that there are no such thing when you are using sports tyres.. Ah well its all a learning curve and I definitely learnt something tonight and still kept my podium place which I am over the moon about :)

One more thing.... I just noticed that my car had a tiny little wing compared to the other cars... Have I done myself out of a bit of performance there....?

If you fit either wing A or B regardless of physical shape, you get the same performance

Cheers for the confirmation. I like the smaller one as I think it looks a bit cleaner in design. I can't seem to remember the full on racing style one being an option but then again it was a while ago now!
 
Really good race lads, shame I couldn't drive in those conditions in the wet but in the dry I was quick :(
 
Shame I had to pull out. Had a house full of rowdy teenagers celebrating the end of term, and it got a bit messy here. I had to pull over to sort em out. Bah, but never mind, the race looked great when I got back in the seat and watched.

Absolutely fantastic photos there Omnius, thanks and what a superb race report as always :)

Perfectly shows how the conditions changed from nice and sunny to 100% torrential rain! The little RWD coupe was never less than a joy to drive, lovely balance to the car just as I have read that it has in real life - must get around to trying one for real sometime :)
