Welcome SNAIL drivers and anyone else that may be interested.

This is a work in progress but here's the idea:

Get together on the 22-23rd of June and hold a 24 hr race. We will need people to be a host and or participant for this race.

Hosts will have a stable internet connection that can last the full 24 hrs. They will have to be willing to have the other participants on their team come to their house for the 24 hrs that the race takes place. They should have a race seat of some sort setup with a wheel unless all team mates prefer the DS3.

Participants would be anyone who is up for the challenge of doing a 24 hr race. There would be no minimum or maximum number of participants so that anyone could be part of the race. If you wanted to attempt it on your own then you could or if 24 of your closest friends wanted to put in an hour each that would be ok.

Cars would be either Spec with no tuning and all the same cars or equalized tuning allowed. That is TBD.

Track will be either Le Mans or Nurb if there's no way to get enough laps in at Le Mans for a 24 hr race.

As I said this is a work in progress so give me your ideas and interest in either being a host or participant.

Hmm, not too many SNAILS there. Actually none that I can think of.

I just remembered that coach only lives somewhere around half an hour to an hour away from me. If I don't iron man this you guys better look out.

I've got two boys. Both capable of wheeling laps. ;) lol

On the real. Don't driver usually limit to a 4hr stint?

If so we could hold 6 races. Dayton's Roval, Nurb 24hr, and Le Sarthe then cycle through the each track twice doing four hours at each for total of 8 hours at each. Equaling 24hrs of driving.

Add total times together. Then determine winner.

These are real world event. Daytona wouldn't give us night. But we could hold day on first at other two. Then night on their second visits.

That's a good idea. What I like about that is if someone just wants to take part in one race they could. It opens it up for more people to be a part of this. Wish I could go on gt5 and look at the settings without messing up my 24 hr race. Would like to see what we are even able to do.

As long as this was done over summer vacation and not when I'm taking a team to play basketball, I would be able to host a driver or two or three to race it. You would have to make a trip to Central CA but I know there are a few guys within a reasonable drive from me. I've got a G27 with a seat right in front of a 65" TV in a full on man cave complete with beer on tap, couches for naps, access to snacks and a bbq ouside. It could make for a nice time to be had by all.
