I was having connection issues last night, was to trying to sort the problem before going coming to the race lobby, I tried to send a message to Johnboy and Gedi via PSN, I think they failed too, all seems ok now,

How was your pit :nervous:

Nailed it 👍

Races were fun despite that 2nd race huge lap 1 wreck , i thought a restart would of been called but i just kept pushing and managed to get a decent race .

Got to watch that replay tomorrow

That was me losing it at the top of Eau Rouge and hit Toffe. Sorry to all who got tagged in the melee. :guilty:

Yeah PSN was having a moment actually it was having a few:yuck: No worries Dave:tup:

Im at a loose end today so will be mulling over some replays.

@ Skeng as it goes bud I wasn't totally joking Gedi feels similar. The team title was some motivation for me but even that's a gonner now, cant hold onto a teammate for love nor money me..:indiff:

Ive said to him to have a think but if hes had enough i understand. Im kinda used to this anyhow lol.

I know its a bad feeling to have the championship fall away from you but its a long season there will always be highs and lows .

I think the cars are well balanced , the sls is a good car , it won at sarthe which is a top speed track more or less .

My observation is that joe struggles a bit in race 2s , this could be due to tire wear , just a guess , I dont really look at everyones races in detail .

Its not over til its over .

Firstly apologies to Joe for race 1 I was probably in a position to call a restart was the wrong decision watching things back sorry for that. Probably didn't put you in a great frame of mind.:guilty: Not much we could do about race 2's similar incident neither of us were in a position to notice it:indiff: was quite some crash:scared:

Regarding the cars all I can say is they were all balanced at the start of the season SLS included I spent plenty of time on them as I always do pre kick off more time with the Lambo granted as 4wd was always a slight risk going on past experience. We deliberately left out the tighter twisty tracks for fear of 4wd dominance (not saying it is by any means) which I think we have succeeded in the best we possibly can. No real sense in us spending time testing them all again at this stage especially with Joe possibly finished.:grumpy: By all means knock another 10kg off it perhaps but it honestly feels like were chasing shadows at this stage harsh as it sounds this is an open choice series we never force a car on anyone.:guilty: I have my reservations with this game anyway im not totally convinced the cars we test at the beginning of a season are the same ones we finish with that said people are bound to improve their car as the season goes on Carb probably a casing point. I enjoyed last night personally had some good battles here and there couldn't put my 18 practice times down despite feeling like I was pushing really hard race 1. Race 2 struggled on the brakes once the tyres dropped off but nothing unexpected was fun driving ultra D (for Nel:sly:x) trying to keep Skeng behind me car felt fine considering zero practice.:)

Joe ive had a look at what you mentioned happens to the best of us mate don't it:sly::sly::sly: Will never start punishing peeps for that here(know you wasn't asking anyway) we have all done it and probably will again:guilty: understand its frustrating though mate.:grumpy:

And I spose a DS3 don't help

Joe ive just run a 6 lap test around our next track the same as I did for Tokyo. Yes I know I said I wasn't gonna but I was curious:P

Typical lap with practice a bit more from both obviously.

Corvette 130.8**
SLS 131.0**

In my humble opinion if we matched the SLS any closer with draft help and the Mercedes superior brakes from a Corvette point of view you would be out braking us every corner with relative ease:scared: What we gain in straight speed we lose to an extent with our brake points its even worse on worn tyres come race 2. That Merc is so much more planted than the Corvette its scary tbh you don't notice it until you jump seats its very hard to get out of shape with it (wheel aided). Like the Toad says there is an element of truth regarding wheel vs DS3 wheel is always a bit quicker generally. If I was testing for a new season all things considered I wouldn't feel the SLS needed anymore help tbh.:guilty:

Despite all of that above discussion this season has really been great .

Look forward to the tuning prohibited season if its still on .

Above discussion is fairly normal skengy dont think a seasons passed without a little controversy.;-) As long as the fun element comes before the other stuff sure we will continue for now.

I also gotta say the cars feel well balanced... The differences in speed is much more a result of different circuits suiting different cars (unavoidable when using several different cars) and above all, the fine adjustments of the settings. I feel the reason that I have performed slightly better this season than last (I have actually won races this season yay!) is mostly because of that I have improved the tune of the car for each race...

Wise words Toffe.

Be interested to hear what the grip monster can do hear low 130's optimum for the Toadvette.

I will start working out ppls drop scores before the last round so you guys will know what's what and how well you need to do at the Finale 👍

If you want me too that is or I could keep it a surprise? 💡

SLS

Having spent a day and a half ragging the hell out of the Mercedes the thing does still seem a little down on performance:crazy: Despite its monster brakes and cornering abilities it continues to lack a little punch.:indiff: I wont bore you with the test results i'll simply tell you ive been on its case the last day and a half:nervous:

So Joe Dave and Chris your new spec for the remainder of the season (this really is it:P) will be 582bhp ~ 1390kg. This in my book brings you where you need to be. Now Joe wind ya neck in and comeback and help me fight for this team title.................please.xx

Dont bother me personally Toad Leader:)

Toadvette feels pretty darn good here completed tyre test and not too scary. Our last track is deffo gonna be a Lambo track so its 🤬 or bust for me nextweek. I haven't completely given up just yet Skengy.;)

Go for it Gik, I'm most certainly looking forward to it because I won't be losing any points thanks to Daytona :P
