lucky u..well ill wait for the US release ... with everything translated.. i know im a big fan, but i prefer to wait a bit to get what i just need :)

I've bought a PS3, but that wasn't just for GT5, the one game it was mainly for is MGS4, GT5 comes second place to that and ofcourse I bought it for any other good games that may come out.

I will be getting a HDTV some time next year, but again, it won't be for GT5, the fact it will benefit me when playing GT5 is a side effect.

I already had a DFP, which I bought for GT4.

So really, the only money I've actually spent on GT5 is the £25 I've spent on GT5:P for Yes Asia.

Off topic but do you think there will be a "liveforspeed" and rFactor version for the PS3?

As the Liveforspeed is getting more and more popular I could see it coming on console at some time. My best bet would be that Xbox somehow would get a hold of this title before PS.

HDMI Cable - $8 (yet to buy)

Stuff not exclusively for the ps3 but bought...

5.1 surround system - $50

wrong you are sorry. a lot of lcds (particularly 32" are all 1080i) most 1080p ones start from 40"

LCDs do not output interlaced signal! They can take 1080i but it has to be converted(deinterlaced) to native progressive(p) resolution of panel(most likely 1080 or 768) CRTs eg. can output interlaced signals.

"Interlace is still used for most standard definition TVs, and the 1080i HDTV broadcast standard, but not for LCD, micromirror (DLP), or plasma displays; these displays do not use a raster scan to create an image, and so cannot benefit from interlacing: in practice, they have to be driven with a progressive scan signal. The deinterlacing circuitry to get progressive scan from a normal interlaced broadcast television signal can add to the cost of a television set using such displays. Nevertheless as of 2006, progressive displays dominated the HDTV market."

Too much in any picture.

Also, multi-screen setup is in serious plans for GT5 release.

Kikie, can you possibly give some pics of your multi-screen set up maybe?
