1985 Toyota MR2, bought for $500 USD w/125k (or so) miles--the engine was rebuilt and the car was a daily driver for my brother but now since he's bought a Mazda3 the Mr.T has been disassembled. :D We've removed the drivetrain and the interior now we're waiting for warmer weather to start the body work and painting. The drivetrain will come after we get a custom fiberglass interior.

Uh....

You gonna swap the engine? cuz...y'know...I know someone who might want it...

KIDDING. I eagerly await to see how this comes out.

You should have told me! I pulled the gze out of my 88 supercharged a few months ago. Unfortunately it's been 1/2 parted out already. Let me know if you need anything.

 Maybe, we're still throwing around the idea about using a 3VZ-FE or the 1MZ-FE 3.0L V6 or just use the current 4A-GE engine with some turbo action.

Nah, we're either going for more displacement or a turbo. I'm trying to convince him on going with the V6.

That's always when the new project looks like it's lost :D At least with me that is :dopey:
But yeah, good luck with the project!

Its been sitting like that for about 2 months. Once it gets warmer the garage might look wose before it gets better.

How about a custom everything else too?

That's interesting for a completely different reason.

I'm having the kit car/replica car thought going through my head.
