Mother F#$#KER!! I went into the city today too, and otherwise had a great time. Probably one of the best NYIAS's I've ever been too, and it wasn't even that crowded. Saw the GT-R, and sat in a ton of cars. Even talked to some absurdly wealthy 15 year old who's family owns Manhattan Motorcars who let me sit in the Lotus Elise out front when I told him I was interested in buying one (which I am..hopefully I can pick one of those buggers up within a year or so).
But those EDIT at the Prologue setup in the Lexus booth refused to just admit that the ****ing display wasn't opened, and kept on bumping up the opening time by a half hour every single time, and the moron mongoloid with the flashy security jacket who didn't know which was was up just kept on saying they'll open up when the time says. I gave up checking with them when, after the clock reached the 4th opening time, they bumped the opening time up 3 more hours into the future. I don't care if they couldn't run it today, but why lie to me, and why waste my time? What is possibly in it for them? Why can't they just say they weren't going to run it?...and how hard is it to run that display anyway?
It's not a big deal that I couldn't play Prologue, I was just so pissed at the way they handled it and took advantage of me and my time... but then again I'm grumpy and constantly depressed.
But other than that, was a sweet show this year.
