Well I've been intending to start a thread like this for awhile now... suppose I've just been a little lazy. Anyway in this thread I will list the setups I'm using for my first crack at career mode on hard difficulty. I managed to get a 1st seat with MF1 so this is the car the setups will be built around. Hope this helps some of you guys, as of course these setups can be used (at least as a starting point) for all the modes and all the difficulties.
FYI I'm using the following thread at the EU Official PS forum for Torro Rosso as the starting point for my setups. Gotta admit the guy there (F1-FANATIC) seems to really know what he is doing with setups, whereas I, not so much

TYRE PRESSURES:
Front: 29 psi
Rear: 22 psi
TRACTION CONTROL:

Notes: This is the only setup that I basically did on my own, so I'm kinda of surprised how well it turned out. However this probably has more to do with how conservative the AI takes some of the corners, even on hard . It has been awhile but I believe I qualy'd around 8. I managed a 4th or 5th in the race thanks to some fortunate breakdowns by the leaders.

I've updated this setup now that I'm on my 2nd season and racing with BMW. I think you'll find this is a fair bit better than the previous one. Also it should work fine for MF1 with the only necessary change being 7th gear set at 7.0 or 7.1. FYI with BMW I ran a fast lap of 1:32.395 with these settings, so if you hit your break & turn-in points right this setup can move
