So, I went to this Jaguar gathering being held today. It was organised by the local Jaguar Drivers' Association.

I took some photos of the more interesting cars for y'all.

The turbo is not a fatory car.

It's either a very well presented conversion (you can hardly see down the sides of the engine anyhow so who knows what's down there) or a very nice and shiny badge.

The Daimler Double Six was factory stock... the top line of the XJ; has been for a while. Now it's just called the Daimler Saloon. The turbo is not stock.

I was thinking when I was editing these pics for the web that I should have had a closer look in the engine bay for the turbo(s) and got a shot.

Now, it seems, I may have just been duped by 'a shiny badge'.

How much of a tool do you have to be to do that to such a nice car?
