Wow, quite the spot. Congratulations, you put actual work into spotting, and it shows. I wouldn't consider this as special as the Veyron spot, which was as candid as they get - on the road, driving, but it's still great.

As far as the sound goes, I have spent a good part of a day in the presence of several FXX Enzos, a good half-dozen Formula 1 races, as well as the chance to hear both Enzo and 2002 Ferrari F1 car pretty much back to back. Although the Enzo sounds ridiculously more "real" than any other street car I've ever heard, there is still a vast difference between full flight V10 race engine. There is no mistaking the difference between the two. They have very similar tone and travel through powerband in similar fashions, but the Enzo is less intense, less crazy, less explosive. F1 cars hurt your head at idle.

It doesn't take away at all from your spot though, which is very impressive. Last I heard, there were two in this city, so I hope I'm hot on your heels ;)

That shot with the Ford Focus really puts things into perspective. Excellent spot.

Excellent spot my friend!

Seeing two on the floor at auto shows is one thing, but seeing it on the street is completely different. A very nice spot indeed!

I'm still not sure if I have seen the car to "make my day" or not yet... I'll think of it sometime. I think seeing two Carrera GTs next to each other in Miami has ruined me for life.

EDIT:

When they finally come out, or if I ever spot a prototype, my guess is that the Camaro will likely be the death of me. High hopes I have, indeed...

Great spot Doug, I could only hope to spot 1/2 the cars you've snapped.

I'm suprised it's taken you 3 years to spot an Enzo when you've probably "spotted" every other hypercar worth seeing.

I love the side on rolling shots, very nice style. The sort of pictures you'd see when you open up the pages of a Evo mag.

👍 Well done, Doug! I know how much this means to you. Now, how long until my first Enzo street sighting...?

Good spot!

I remember seeing my first Sierra RS500 (no where near as cool as your spot) when I was about 7 years old and going mad over it, then realized the owner was in the car.
I think he was probably past the stage of being smug and was probably embarrassed about the excited kid who looked like he'd eaten too much sugar hopping around his car pointing!

I still do that now, to be honest.

Fantastic spot, Doug! I'm glad after all your hard pounding of the streets you managed to turn up the elusive negro Enzo!

Today I'll be in Buckhead around 2ish. I doubt I'll see anything worthy of posting, being it Wednesday and all. Plus, weather has been bad recently. Maybe I'll get lucky though. You seemed to be anyway. 👍

Amazing spot! I like the Enzo a lot more in black, actually.

The coolest car in that category I've ever seen on the street is a black Aston Martin Vanquish. It looked AWESOME in person. I've seen it twice.

Congrats Doug! By any chance do you have high-res shots of the last three shots on the road (three before the Focus)? I wouldn't mind using one as a wallpaper. :)

Wow. The only one on the planet? That's pretty awesome. It's even cooler that the driver uses it hard and often. I bet the guy knew that you knew what you were looking at when you spoke to him.

A friend of mine and I were just discussing this the other day... the Enzo is really the last "possible" car I hadn't seen. There's still stuff like the F50, McLaren F1, Vector... indeed the Koenigsegg (though there's just one here in the States).

Actually, we have 3 Koenigseggs in the US. ;)

A real shame it started to become dark - the photos you took would have become awesome!

Great find though! 👍

Eh. Maybe he knew I knew it was an Enzo. If I had dropped Wynn's name I bet he would've thought I was weird.

Yeah they're probably all in Scottsdale.
1 is. The other is in California, and the 3rd is in Long Island.

Congratulations Doug!, I never knew there was more than one Black Enzo:tup:, awesome photos!:)
