in the past few days there have been alot of posts locked in the few short month's i have been here i have nvr seen such misuse of the Acceptable Use Policy that jordan has made when this fourm was made. i ask all of u plz use your head when u make up a thread i hope that this fourm can be as good as it was before thank u for your time

Yes, I do agree that everyone should read/obey it. It would make things alot easier for everyone.

ive gotta admit i havent.

GTP is becoming bigger and you cant really expect everyone to be good. its just too much to ask. everyone is entitled to a bit of freedom of speech.

Nice one Josh.
Anyways, about the topic. I agree with Dudebusta somewhat. I think with this place gettin' so much bigger, with more and more people registering everyday, you can't expect everyone to be nice, and there will be DT's that come along every now and then.
And when they do come along, we always have our *click* moderator.

I have pretty much been here since the beginning(or very close to it) the AUP used to be heavily enforced. I heavily enfored it, and I took a lot of heat from the members for it. I think thats why the mods don't do it any more, they let more slip in turn for being more accepted by the members. Truth is, its a lot easier, even if its again the forums own policy. I left cause I couldn't enforce the rules anymore

I have to confess that I haven't read the AUP either but I do think that it should be taken for granted that people in a forum based on their common interest will make an effort not to offend each other.

One of the things that has always impressed me about GTPlanet is that the general tone of the posts is always friendly (even when people are in strong disagreement on a point there is the sense that they are being jocularly impolite!). Long may it stay that way.
