Awesome photos Doug! We have the Meadowbrook Concours d'Elegance coming up in August which I'm really excited for since it's on Oakland's campus and I get in free.

Wow..... you must have a good day huh Doug? :D Especially the Ferraris, the Red Murcie and the 300SL. All of them are like..... Surely you have more photos from this even right, just post them will you? If you only took this much during this even, then I might say I'm a little disappointed....... :guilty:

Thanks and do attend - Concours events are great.

Ya I typically go but up in till this year it was $50 a person to get in. I went two years ago and saw my first Veyron and Spyker C8. The Meadow Brook Concours d'Elegance is more about cars from the 20's and 30's though since the mansion it's at is from around that time. I mean to give you an idea of the caliber of cars, one of this years featured vehicles is a 1935 Duesenberg Mormon Meteor.

I will defiantly be going this year.

Joey, be on the look out for Mr. Glickenhaus. He's been attending for quite a few years now, and he'd be a really interesting man to meet.

Very nice pictures! But I can't hold back from asking this: why is there a ferrari prancing horse logo on the door of that Ford GT?

You are going to have to humour me and tell me who Glickenhaus is :D.

I suck at auto-show photo taking so I skipped a bunch of very interesting cars, passing them up for stuff I prefer... but that Gullwing was awesome.

very nice pics :D
am i the only one who gets kinda spoilt for choice at shows and skip quite good cars from the awesome overload and then later see ones i missed and think damn why didnt i snap that lol

That 300SL is just pure sex. I JUST posted this car in the automotive beauty thread.

You should've made the trip up - we had a couple of Oklahoma cars. :D

That would have been nice, but gas would have cost me a good bit of money that I do not have at the moment. Not surprising considering I have done nothing for the last month after graduating and just starting working today.
