It's easy to insert a YouTube video directly into your post! Just look at the URL of the video in your browser's address bar when you are watching the clip on YouTube.com. It should look something like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lj3iNxZ8Dww. The text in red is a unique identifier for each video. Remove everything from the address except for that identifier, and enclose it in [youtube] "tags", like this:
[youtube]lj3iNxZ8Dww[/youtube]
Now, the video can now be watched right here on GTPlanet, just like this:
You can also embed videos from Vimeo directly into your posts, using a similar technique. When watching a video on Vimeo, the address of the page should look something like http://www.vimeo.com/8216664. Once again, just copy that unique ID number highlighted in red, and place it between [vimeo] "tags", like so:
[youtube]lj3iNxZ8Dww[/youtube]
