-> For Race Car fans, here is a thread for you:
The Race Car Wishlist
-> And for Obnoxious, Weird, and Silly Vehicle fans, here is a thread for you:
Unlikely Vehicles
-> Here are the rules that must be followed accordingly. If you have any questions, please, please don't hesitate to ask me!
1. Formatting - Unlike the confusing setup that I implemented before on v.5.0, the cars should be in completely in a numerical and alphabetical order. If the car bears the same name plate, arrange it by model, chassis code (optional), and year. Follow this format religiously, anyone who doesn't follow this format WILL be ignored:
-MANUFACTURER- *Must be in bold letters with underline and provide a web link (if possible)*
- Make
- Model
- Trim (if any)
- Type (concept/prototype/show car, if its a production car, pls. don't specify)
- Body style (optional)
Here are type types of cars that can be used
* kit car = they send parts, you build it
* d.i.y = built inside some guys garage from scratch
* tuned = cars that are modified
* design study = Nike One
* fuel cell = powered by hydrogen
* EV/electric vehicle = voltage power
* micro car = teeny-weeny cars
* sedan = Toyota Camry
* sports sedan = Honda Civic Si, BMW M5
* coupe = Toyota (Camry) Solara, Dodge Neon R/T
* sports coupe = Ford Mustang V6 ('11), BMW M6
* hatchback = VW Golf, Opel/Vauxhall Astra
* hot hatch = Mazdaspeed 3/Axela/Mazda 3 MPS, VW GTI
* fastback = Honda/Acura Integra
* wagon = Volvo V70
* minivan = Renault Espace/Dodge Grand Caravan
* van = Chevrolet Astro/Hyundai H-1 Starex
* utility van = Ford Transit
* utility vehicle/wagon/truck = multi purpose vehicles
* cuv/crosover = Nissan Murano/BMW X3 - Also known as tall but stylish and somehow sporty wagons.
* suv w/ AWD = Honda Pilot/Volvo XC90 - Basically people carriers that are less embarrasing than a minivan.
* performance suv/cuv = Subaru Forester STi/Porsche Cayenne GTS - These vehicles have little to do with off-road an more on-road with performance aspirations.
* suv w/ 4WD = Ford Explorer/Chevy Tahoe - Capable off-road in a way, a step-up from 'normal' SUV's.
* 3-door 4x4 = Suzuki Jimny/Jeep Wrangler - Tough as nails, go anywhere utes.
* 5-door 4x4 = Mitsu Pajero/Toyota Land Cruiser series - Same as above, but seats more.
* sut/sport utility truck = Honda Ridgeline/Chevy Avalanche - SUV's with pickup attributes.
* pickup = Toyota HiLux/Ford F-150 - Well duh.
* convertible (US)/cabriolet (EU) = top down w/ 4-seats
* roadster = top down w/ 2-seats
* speedster = basically roadsters that is top optional w/ 1 or 2 seats
* track car = cars that are primarily designed for race tracks
* special track car = cars that will/can become race cars
* sports car = cars the are designed for performance in mind (2-door cars that features 350-499hp)
* super car = cars that goes beyond sport (500-849hp)
* hyper car = cars that goes beyond belief (850hp++)
- 'YY (aka. year) *use four digits if its 1920 and below, do not use "--" if unable to specify a year, research first*
! Take note if you want to put a chassis codes like Honda's, BMW's, and Mercedes'; make sure you put a squared bracket "[]" before you indicate the trim level. Or use the following brackets if deemed necessary:
Proper use of brackets
[ ] = Chassis codes, versions, generations, series, tetc.
{ } = Engine size, engine code, horsepower, torque, force induction, drive type (opt.), etc.
( ) = Cab/bed configuration for pickups, a.k.a., special clauses, etc.
Example:
-ATRON MOTORMOBILE DIVISION-
Atron Manila [XD21] Megalos-D 3-door fastback '06
Here are some finished examples:
-ATRON MOTORMOBILE DIVISION-
Atron Azteca [ZA] Trim 1 sedan '1914
Atron Azteca [ZA] Trim 2 sedan '1914
Atron Azteca [ZB] Trim 1 sedan '36
Atron Azteca [ZC] Trim 3 {40hp} (soft top) sedan '40
Atron Betina [WS12] ZS-Ebolusyon 3-dr. (GTPlanet Pkg.) hatchback '98
Atron Betina [WT15] S {1.8L} sedan '00
Atron Manila [XD20] 4 Ebolusyon-R {310hp} coupe '03
^ Sorry I have to improvise, but you'll get it.
2. Authenticity - Like never before, this is not just a stupid wish list, it is also a handy mini encylopedia for cars. Every car requests will go though me for verification if that car really does exist. And please, no essays, just follow the format and provide a decent link of the vehicle. Pics are allowed for verification, but please don't post pics that are bigger than the browser itself.
3. Race Cars - I've already warned everyone about this in advance. This time, I won't accept race cars and their liveries this time around, there is a race car version of the wish list HERE. Plain body race cars (such as the F430 GT and 997 GT3 Cup) are accepted as a 'special track car' and not race cars.
4. Significance - The vehicles must have any performance significance (aero, engine, and handling) compared to the former car, even if it is very minor. So just an appearance packages (like minor bumper, head/tail light packages) just won't cut it.
5. Tuners - Tuner manufacturers goes under their own name. But this time, the modifications should be highly significant, unique, and special compared to their fully equipped 'package' and/or stock cars. In which these cars won't be listed.
6. Concepts - When you name a certain car like 'Lancer Concept MIEV', categorize it as a concept car. If its not part of the official name type 'concept' in small caps only. If its official or part of the vehicles name, use 'Concept' format. This goes to other types of vehicles. Just browse the list and you'll get it.
7. Movie Cars - Movie cars that are MECHANICALLY altered (like the ones from Tokyo Drift) for performance purposes are ok, but SHOW PROOF if they are legit. If its just for looks only, then don't bother. Plus no outlandish and stupid cars like the Munster Car, Chitty-Chitty Bang-Bang, and Lightning McQueen. But famous Manga-based cars (like in Initial D, Over Rev, and Wangan Midnight) that resembles in real-life cars are also applicable with the same rules.
8. Spacing - if these manufacturers are affiliated, use only one space (I mean the enter button) after the last car. If not it must be two spaces.
Example:
-HONDA JAPAN-
-----
-----
-HONDA PHILIPPINES-
-----
-----
-HYUNDAI SOUTH KOREA-
-----
-HYUNDAI NORTH AMERICA-
-----
9. Research - If you're unable to provide the year of that certain vehicle at first, dig deeper. If still unsuccessful, don't mind of posting it.
10. Repeats - Read the original list on page one before you make you own request list. Repeats are tiring, and I'm not at GTP 24/7. It makes my job a lot harder.
-> Please post at a maximum of 5-10 cars at a time. So I can verify each of these cars, It reduces delay between posts. And it will definitely lighten my load significantly.
-> These rules will STRICTLY be implemented once the wishing starts. I was kinda linient before, but now I'm very anal when I format these cars.
-> By posting in this thread you are agreeing to the Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not post.
-> Comments and questions are open.
-> And most of all, have fun. Don't let these rules discourage you from posting.
-> Please understand in certain situations, request will be taken with some delay, thank you/arigato/gracias/salamat po.![Smile :) :)](/wp-content/themes/gtp16/images/smilies/smile.svg?v=3)
