1. Introduction

NTSC CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES

OrangeR Cup Series = Premier Series

Clubman Cup Series = Orange R Feeder series

Sports Car Cup Series = Clubman Cup Feeder series

Chain of Command

NTSC Championship Series Creator/Owner/Operator

- Earth

Director of Competition
- Chadwicksracing

1-A - The race administrator reserves the right to create or alter any rule or hand down any punishment at any given moment for any given incident

1-B - Maximum entries per series - 12

1-C - NTSC users only for connection & time zone issues

2. Points System & Championships

2-A - There are 3 possible championships in each of the NTSC Championship's 3 series

Driving Championship - To the driver who scores the most points over the course of the season

Team Championship - To the team that scores the most points over the course of the season. There may be no more then 3 drivers per team in each series. There may be no more then 6 teams per series. Drivers on teams must run the same cars and car colors. Car colors for each round are claimed on a first come first serve basis. First team to state which car color the team will use for that round gets first pick. Teams must use cars differing in color from other teams for each round unless the color choice is limited to less then the number of teams in a series.

Tuner/Garage Championship
- To the Garage or individual tuner that scores the most points over the course of the season. Drivers are free to change Garages from race to race. You are also free to make minor alterations to a Garage's tune to fit your driving style better. However, if you alter the tune to where it shares little traits with the original you can not use that particular Garage's name in your results form.

2-B - Driver, Garage, and team points are paid out the same. Longer (10 laps) races pay out double points.

1. 10
2. 7
3. 6
4. 5
5. 4
6. 3
7. 2
8. 1

2-D - Past Champion Provisional - A past champion of a certain series who finishes deep in the points can decide whether or not he wants to stay in the same series or drop down. He can only do this once.

2-E - At the end of each season the top 3 drivers in points from Clubman Cup move up into OrangeR cup and the top 3 drivers in points from the Sports Car Cup will move up into Clubman Cup. The bottom 3 drivers in points from the OrangeR Cup will move down to Clubman Cup, the bottom 3 drivers in points from Clubman Cup will move down into the Sports Car Cup. The number of drivers moving from series to series may alter. For example if a certain series has alot of inactive drivers most likely it will drop more then 3 and the feeder series will give more then 3 to it.

This may affect teams. For example 2 drivers on a team may finish in the top 9, but the third team member may finish outside of the transfer spots and may be demoted a series. At the end of each season the team must decide whether to recruit a new driver from another series who has moved up or to move down a series to stay with the demoted teammate.

2-F - Drivers must complete at least 50% of the championship races in order to be recognized as Champion

2-G - Drivers completing less then 50% of the races on the schedule may be demoted a series no matter their point total.

2-H - A series must have at least 5 drivers signed up for it in order for it to open up.

3. Racing Etiquette

3-A - Wrecklessly barging into another driver causing him to lose time or crash can be reported and will be penalized.

3-B - Blocking - You are allowed to make one blocking move from one side of the track all the way to the other, but you are not allowed to change your line again. The block must be executed early enough so the following driver has time to react

3-C - Passing - Use common sense when passing or being passed. All incidents will be dealt with according to each case involved.

3-D - OLR Rules - At Fuji try and keep at least 2 tires on the rumble strips at all times. Abusing the runoff areas can be reported and penalized. Wall Surfing at HSR is an absolute no no

3-E - Probation - Drivers who have poor racing etiquette, or jump starts or any other offense may be put on probation. If the driver repeats the same offense while on probation then he might suffer loss of points or banishment from a round(s) or season or in rare cases lifetime.

4. Online Racing with GT5P

4-A - If you are put into a different race by yourself while attempting to connect with the others or have some sort of connection issues that keep you from connecting or any other freak accident you will be given 3 consolation points for each of these occurrences.

4-B - If you are put into a different race with at least 1 other GTP member points will be given out normally.

4-C - If a race is for some reason disconnected, available points depending on the size of the grid will be distributed evenly among the competitors.

4-D - Uninvited drivers, sometimes hacks, may be in the way of the racing. Try to avoid them. If they wreck you, try to think of it as you getting a blown tire or something. This series features delayed starts, so hopefully this won't be a problem.

4-E
- Starting positions are determined by pp. Registered drivers will receive a pm each week detailing information about pp levels per race for each driver/team. Rows will be determined by teams.

4-F - If the race finishes because of the timer before you cross the finish line, your position in relation to other GTP members when the race ended is final.

4-G - Using the wrong pp for a race will result in half points. If you win with the wrong pp the win will be taken away and given to the 2nd place driver, but the points earned by the 2nd place driver remain the same. Drivers racing with the wrong pp may be put on probation after an initial verbal warning.

5. Signups

5-A - To sign up, fill out the following and post it in any NTSC Championship thread

PSN nick used for GT5P
Team (if any/with permission if joining existing team)

5-B - Please note that the signup is for the entire 8 week season or what's left of it depending on when you join. 100% attendance is not expected.

5-C - Please note that the NTSC Championship runs all it's races Tuesday Nights, between 9 - 11pm eastern standard time. Please take this into account before signing up.

6. Results Form

6-A - After every round each driver is required to enter a results form into that particular round's thread within 24 hours after the race is finished.

The results form should look like this

Race 1 - (finish position?)
Race 2 - (finish position?)
Race 3 - (finish position?)
Tune - (what tune did you use?)

An Example:

Race 1 - 2nd
Race 2 - 4th
Race 3 - Connection issues. Missed race
Tune - Dutch Customs

Do you sleep man? Anyways, that looks great. It really does. Let me know if you need help with photoshop!

Earth: I can help do the logo in PS...maybe I can work on one of them and Chad can do the other? I'll do the orange R logo if you want me to 👍

BTW, your point/race tables look clean 👍 I noticed in the main points standings table that it shows that I have 4 wins, although I only have 3. Just thought I'd make you aware of the error. Thanks

Sure,

I think it is a good idea that he does the Clubman Cup logo and you work on the OrangeR since it is the series you both are in

Thanks

EL_ZISSOU won race #8 with incorrect pp so he was disqualified, giving the race win to you

I'll work on the logo later today 👍

Thanks for clarifying the 4 wins I have...I forgot about race 8.

Love the standings. Is that straight out of Nascar.com?

Looks amazing, Earth. I'll try to look up some emblems and logos for the Orange R series.

Hey guys, after spending a half hour in PS here's what I came up. I may need to re-adjust the size a bit.

Tell me what you guys think and if you have any suggestions on ways to improve it 👍 I was thinking about throwing in a orange car like Hammy did, but I'm unsure...💡

Love the standings. Is that straight out of Nascar.com?

I went to the websites of Formula 1, Indycar, and NASCAR to see how they displayed their points, and I found NASCAR's to the best and most informative so I went with it

Chadwicksracing
I will cook up something for clubman

This is all I could find, if its any help

This is excellent

Now my charts look quite amateur by comparison :indiff: 👍

Nah. I think the charts look good. The logo is just simple..the charts are much harder to create and maintain. Great work on those.

Geez...Zissou is out in front by a mile! Close battle for 2nd though 👍

I really can't afford to miss anymore races at this point. Even if I put on a really strong showing for the following rounds I'll be lucky to catch up to Zissou, at least if he shows up for all of the following races. It's obvious that missing any races absolutely kills your points standings :dunce:

First Post Updated to include Round 6 Results

Also included tuner points for the first time, but as you can see it is a WIP. Still waiting for more teams (and team logos) before tracking team points.

God damn frickin TV remote!!! :ouch: What a great way to kill my title hopes...bastard! If it weren't for that pos falling off my bed I probably would have won Race 2 last night and been within 52 points of Zissou. Instead I'm 66 points behind, which sounds a bit out of reach with only 2 rounds remaining unfortunately :( What garbage...big suprise given my luck though.

Sorry, just had to vent my frustrations :sly:

Might want to take a quick look at Race 19 for OrangeR - maybe it got split into 2 because you have 2 winners and 2 second place finishers.

Looks great overall - love the video for Race 6 - classic stuff man!

Actually the results are correct 👍 Unfortunately we had gotten seperated into two groups for that particular race, so the results were taking from each race.

Updated to include Round 7 Results. Not as flashy as previous results, but easier to maintain.

I am contemplating the future of the Garage Championship. The goal of it was to attract garages to the series so the drivers could have great tunes to choose from on a weekly basis while the garages get advertisement.

So far only one stand alone garage, Blitz Hendrix Tuning has shown interest.

I will talk with more garages, and if they show interest the Tuning Championshp will be here for next season.
