What does this mean?? never heard it before.. well after finding these at work the other day while browsing youtube (busy day) i must say im quite interested!!

Does anyone know any other terms or names for this type of burnout? (no brakes)

It seems a bit pointless, but I think it may also be referred to as a "rolling burnout".

Hhhhmmm interesting... looks like a cross between drag racing and drifting... the guy in the first video was swerving a bit trying to keep the back end in check... the second video was clean and straight... I guess it is a challenge to be moving while burning out and keeping it straight...

It's just another way Aussies can show off their 'killa' burnouts, the first video is just the usual tail wagging to show it off a little more, also takes less power the keep the wheels spinning and keep the speed a little lower while tail wagging.

Pretty easy to do you just need enough power to select a high gear (4th/5th) and keep it tromped.

Enough is probably an understatement to do a 600m+ burnout with no brakes

I find it very entertaining!!! Amazing show of pure power, I mean they are probably doing over 200kph yet still smoking the wheels!!

Looks like drifting in a straight line to me. That's what the drifters do to pass the time between the corners anyway, just wave the car back and forth.

Like I said, you just need to be able to spin up 4th or 5th gear from a standstill (or close enough) and then keep it pinned, its not the same as cars that are aready travelling at speed before they 'lite 'em up', much easier this way. Still need lots of power but there are tons of cars around on the streets that can do it these days (That HQ did have a ton of power).

An example: for a lower powered car, if you can do a standing burnout in second gear (with revs high) let go of the brake and you will be suprised how long the peel out is.
