No. That's Eastern Time in the U.S. It begins at 5pm or something in Germany.

Sony's part is at 12:30pm US Eastern time, 18:30 (6:30pm) CET.
Their part ends at 14:30 (2:30pm) EDT, 20:30 (8:30pm) CET.

The whole thing starts at 5:00am EDT, 11:00am CET.

Thanks to DTS for that info. :sly:

Today's the big day, the day we finally know something about GT5. Either that, or we're all arses for thinking that.

Hope there is some good news, to wake up to! If not there is, always the Tokyo Game Show! Fingers and toes, crossed for tomorrow though!!!:)👍

what time does it start in england (i'm not good at the time difference thing)

^

UK is always one hour behind CET (Central European Time), so, 17:30 would be a good shout...

Gah! It starts at midnight here, so no watching for me. Will find out news in the morning, release date please!

Are you sure that both of these streams aren't just of the actual gamescom event which starts on the 19th? (or to be more exact; in one day, twenty two hours and seventeen minutes as according to http://www.gamescom-cologne.com/)

I think that the actual Sony conference (that starts in five hours and 20 minutes) is a pre-show deal, aka media only and no streaming allowed? I've head that there will be up to the minute blogging etc, but nothing about a live video stream (as of yet).

edit:

I found this handy thread with lots of event information >> http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=370823

Guess those livestreams will start tomorrow, and wont show the press conferences. Otherwise they would show the EA conference at the moment.

And it's over. Obviously there were just EA games. Hopefully at 6.30pm we'll see Sony's conference.
