It's been ages since my last build so was very pleased to finally get started on it, even though it wasn't for me!
Specs:
Intel Quad Core Q8300
ASUS Mobo with Intel G31 Chipset
4GB RAM
500GB HD
ATI 4870 1GB
Lightscribe DVD drive.
All the bits
The case came with a crappy 450w PSU. After asking some advice in this thread, i purchased an OCZ Stealth Xtreme 600w.
Micro ATX Motherboard. The CPU and RAM came handily already installed on it.
Looks tiny in the case! I wasn't sure how the GPU would fit in it!
REALLY unsure!
Oh like that!
This view shows how BIG it is in comparison to the tiny motherbard. We'll have to make do with one PCI slot rather than two!
To finish it all off, we've plugged it into a Samsung Series 5 32" 1080p TV
Runs really well on Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit (albeit some driver issues!).
Haven't had a chance to play any games yet but i'm sure it'll run them easily as it's more powerful than my PC!
I'll also try to run 3DMark at somepoint for you all.
