Anyone aware of a way to see how many times have been posted in total per region, i.e I'm 142nd in UK atm but no idea out of how many.:ill:

It's mainly for my ego but if there's 2,000 people it's not as impressive as if there's say 20,000;)
 
I did a ten minute lap last night on another account to figure this one out, place around 15000, so there's roughly at least that many contestants. Was on the US version.

Then that would mean there's likely at least 40,000 worldwide, as there should be more in EU...
 
In Australia just got friends to do a 25min lap in the Normal and 15 in the tuned. Placed 4300th and 6300th respectively. Quite a number more people in the Tuned, probably because it looks more exciting and is the first option.
 
I ran a reasonably slow one last night in the UK one, and i think i saw around 25,000th, but that might have just been my eyes not reading number properly as it had dissapeared buy the time it registered.

I'd like to know whether this was tuned or untuned, as there's clearly a lot more people setting times in the tuned car.

Why wouldn't anyone try both cars? So I don't think there will be a lot more settled times for the tuned car. Alot more bad times for the untuned car that's for sure. :)

Tuned Car: 2hrs 12mins 43 secs ranked 35,850th
Normal Car: 2hrs 14mins 18 secs ranked 21,560th
Overall Time: 4hrs 27mins 01 sec ranked 15,777th

I wont use this account again but will log it on every now and then to see how many people are in this competition. 💡

Overall Time: 4hrs 27mins 01 sec ranked 15,777th

Wow, i'm surprised so many didn't even complete one lap (!) with the normal car. So DrTrouserPlank was right.
 
I think the tuned car is more fun, and gives drivers a bit more breathing room when it comes to the approach towards a fast driving line. throttle can be a usefull tool in steering when its fully available on the tuned version without TC. I can see why more people drive it. the stock TT times seem a bit closer together though. Both are fun IMO.
 
You're looking at this from the perspective of a enthusiast.

Most of the people on the game won't have read or understood the rules, they'll have downloaded the game, run the first option -- Tuned -- had a go, decided it's too hard and given up. I'm also sure that the number of downloads is greater than the number of Tuned laps because many people would spin out and just not bother trying again. So the real number of actual players is probably the number of people who have completed laps in both.

Or: run the Tuned, think 'Hey this is not too bad!', then try the Stock and fail to complete a lap and delete it from the hard drive. :P :lol:
 
I did a lap in the Tuned of 15min took place 6200. Also did a lap in the normal car of 20min and took place 3100.

Unfortunately I had forgot to do the same in "rest of the Europe" category, and I always do that kind of a slow lap when interested in #of people on some combo :/
