One More Time!!!
Hey everyone! I have been wanting to do a GT4 race cars only weekend racing event almost since I participated at my first SFGT at Nick and Rachel's. Now that GT5 is purportedly due out, soon?, I would like to get moving on choosing the weekend to have a send off event for GT4. I am thinking sometime between after tax day, 🤬 and mid May. Run all GT race cars, list forth coming, and give the participants a chance to not only choose the day but also the tracks to run on. I call it "The Devil's Own" because (1+5=6) and when there are going to be 15 cars run on 15 tracks for 15 laps, well I'm sure you all can do that math. Lets get the date nailed down first, then I will pass out the cars list (yes you will get to practice prior to the event:tup and we will poll for track favorites. Looking forward to out braking everyone getting into a corner soon.

One of the 1st weekends in May works best for me. 👍

I'm in England from March 6th to April 11th, so the weekend after I get back may be a little too soon as I'll doubtless have a lot of catching up to do with various things.

Can't do the 15th & 16th May as we'll be in Portland for our 7th anniversary weekend, hopefully full of beer, wine, spirits brewed, bottled or distilled onsite at McMenamin's Edgefield, along with a few rounds on their par 3 course, some good food & cigars and well, giggity, you know...

This sounds like good fun. I'm available any weekend in theory, I just need to ask for it off well in advance. I look forward to seein' y'all again and maybe some new faces too. 👍

Cool. Taxes are done already and the good folks over at H & R Block have got us a refund which is nice.
I could do that last weekend in April too. Especially if it means racing with Ricardo again. 👍 (And the rest of you, of course! )

When are we going to poll on tracks? I believe Leland has 1 specific track in mind that'll be included by default.

Also I think I will leave choose of direction until the day of the race. Leave a little something to mystery/chance.

Any updates on the dates. Got a pm from D.P. but not sure if May is the final date...
On another note...I hopping to be better by either date...I was diagnosed with Tendinitis on my right thumb! possibly more won't know till this coming Tuesday. Hope to see you all.

Id really like to come this time, but what would I need to bring?

I dont have a PS2, got an 80GB PS3, cant play PS2 games.
I do have a copy of GT4 and GT5P
Can bring my 32" LCD, and stereo if needed
Can also bring beer, wine, or some other sort of alcohol.

EDIT: chose May 15th, which right now works for me.

I would if I could. There's no way my mom will provide money or even let me go hundreds of miles away for 3 days of Gran Turismo 4 LAN Partying with a bunch of internet strangers(no offense).

Unfortunately it looks like we are going to be running it May 8-9. I want to be able to include as many as possible, but mainly Nick as my way to thank him for producing the past two events that I enjoyed so much. Give me some dates for later in the year and lets see if we can't work something else out. Maybe the same cars but with tracks not used this time around. Love the GT cars.👍

Guess I waited too long to vote! Gotta burn three vacation days before the end of April or I'll lose 'em so 23-25th was perfect. Only get ten more on May 1st & they gotta last a whole year. Have fun guys & PLEASE post pics/vids!...O.G.
