This could be a interesting article if your interesting in stereoscopic 3D gaming/TV/film.

It seems that 120Hz monitors have other advantages, aka response time, when playing games.

Just came across this review: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/3d-pol...iew-31849.html

I've always wondered if using a anaglyph glasses is bad ( = unhealthy) for your eyes and brain? Also, shutter glasses. It can't be good for your brain to use shutter glasses. Or am I wrong?

The only 3D sterescopic glasses that I think don't give any problems are polarized glasses. Or am I wrong again?

Are there smart GTP members whom can answer these questions? I hope so.

I read an article of a doc. who stated that watching one or two movies does not affect your brain. But what could cause problems is watching a long time 3d (like tv 3-4 hours in a piece) and that day after day.
Possible consequences: you could have a shutter effect in your sight temporally or worse... and or problems with distance, plans (all objects in 3d related stuff)

plus for little children it can be unhealthy because their brain is still evolving, and that could create false synapse connections,...
That's what i'm read, i think the same way.
Sometimes ain't hurt. Watching it everyday could be unhealty.

I will be waiting for real 3d to buy a new tv. There in Europe, even HD is not covered bigtime by the channels (except some rubbish or pay-tv). We stop analog transmission in two years i think.
At least in my country we working on real fast internet (by 2015 100MB/S , by 2020 1GB/s.... com'on i'm waiting)
