That's what I use too. I do wish it was as complete as uesp.net is for Oblivion, though. Still, I guess that's the best resource around. Can't wait for this game. :D

I put at least 225 hours into Fallout 3 between 3 playthroughs. Loved the game. Fallout New Vegas is a day one purchase for me. I posted my F3 pics and stats somewhere on this site. There are some random pics including 28+ deathclaw hands, 22+ teddy bears, 15+ toy cars, a bunch of hammers and wrenches, also some pool balls, plus 69 fingers.

ya the vault is the only good resource the other press sites like IGN and Gamespot have nothing on this game. I have one question thought which pre-order pack would you think is the best. I was going to get the classic until I learned that it was only for Xbox :( so I went to the caravan pack.

With a different developer on board for this (Obsidian) I'm hoping that there will be nowhere near as many bugs as there were in Fallout 3.

No kidding Im still working on Fallout 3 because of all the bugs and lockups but is the PS3 the only one that does this. Cause what I heard the PC had the least bugs then the PS3 or was it better graphics.

The 360 version had quite a few bugs too. Especially Point Lookout which was one of my least favorite DLC packs.

I kinda liked Point Lookout the Swampfolk were funny but hard at the same time. Point Lookout also had some neat locations but with the bugs and popup It really destroyed the fun.

My favorite was Broken Steel by a longshot. That DLC was just so awesome. I remember going into that with at least 90 stimpacks on the hardest difficulty and loaded inventory. By the end of the DLC I was out of everything and was drinking from the toilet to survive. Just epic.

The PC one had the least bugs, mainly because Bethesda do all their lead development on PC and port the games across to PS3 and 360. The PC had the best visuals, followed by 360 then PS3. With Oblivion they were getting their feet wet on console development, and with Fallout 3....well even they admitted that the game engine wasn't really suited to consoles. Hopefully with Obsidian - who are more experienced in console gaming than Bethesda - they will iron out any bugs before the games release.
I agree with the what people have said about Point Lookout. It is the best DLC by far, but it is also the biggest and most buggy. My favourite is Mothership Zeta. Those aliens are hilarious. And the arsenal of laser-based weapons you get at the end are awsome.

hey I was playing Broken Steel yesterday I fought half the Enclave with my bare hands thank god my guy has max hand to hand. Im like Chuck Norris on Fallout 3.

Looking forward to this game but I was honestly hoping it would get bumped a month or two so I could enjoy all the other great games coming out around that time. September and October are going to be very busy months this year.

Not usually into the special edition stuff, but that graphic novel....

Obsidian seem to have refined what bethesda have done with FO3. Can only be better? VATS has been enhanced with more AP which sort of gives the turn based people more "turns", but the focus seems now to be on real time. Playing FO2 and cannot wait for this title.

I got news on hardcore mode you need to eat drinks and sleep and if you drink soda beer or any other beverage thats not water and you also need sleep and food and to heal crippled limbs you need doctor bags stimpaks heal over time to. Thats pretty much it.

Can't wait. This is a day one purchase for me, except I'll be buying it for PC this time around.

If my PC had any chance of running it - so would I...

PS3 it is then - hope they've fixed the bugs!! (If they're using the same engine)

Apparently the fo2 gecko enemies will return in Fallout New Vegas they have normal ,golden, and fire. One of the main golden gecko spawn point is east crescent canyon at night. ps the gold geckos are scary:scared:.
