Hall of Famers

The album "Dark Side of the Moon" remained in the charts for 741 weeks from 1973 to 1988, longer than any other album in history.

That alone tells you something.

Although my favorite Pink Floyd album / CD is "Wish you were here"

A Syd Barrett tribute - "Shine on you crazy diamond"

Why does this even have any other option besides Hall of Famers?

One of the greatest bands of all time!

I still remember the first time I listened to Dark Side of the Moon all the way through. I was blown away!
I also remember the first time I listened to Wish You Were Here all the way through. The feeling was just the same.

My personal favorite Pink Floyd song is this:

Slight Language Warning at very beginning
Comfortably Numb

And Let's not forget when they sang this song at Live 8 in 2005:

Too bad we'll never see that again since Richard Wright unfortunately died.

These are some of my other favorites:

Lord Beethoven's Music Box for this one!

Hall of Famers, couldn't be anything else really even if they're not your favourite band.

Hall of Fame. No doubt about it.

Though some of their long songs get boring sometimes, but they still are catchy and rock n' rolling!

I had a hard time choosing between HoF and "Find a new job", especially as they would be perfect for the "God of music" position.

There is a reason they are my #1 artist on last.fm.

I put HoF but for very mixed reasons. I don't listen to them much these days for reasons I just can't explain. Back when I first started listening to them I was kind of like WTF at first but continued listening because I was intrigued. Eventually got hooked because my music collection was very limited at the time. I love their style of music and how they stretch out songs into some eerie atmospheric jam. Not many bands were doing stuff like that at the time because it was all about who could have a bigger name (Nothings changed I guess.) But they are a direct influence for a lot of things that I listen too so for that they get a HoF vote. The only downside their is to the band is the pompous fan base. But you get that with any major band, at least this one delivers.

Still one of the most haunting songs ever. That is all I'll say on the subject.

GTP's first artist to christen " Lord Beethoven's special wing" in the Hall of Fame.

Congrats to Pink Floyd.

Its nice to see pink floyd getting some love, still this threads lacks of lot of things, for example:

And the whole album, and every Pink Floyd album ever made.
