I MOD my WheelStand Pro for the Clubsport Pedals...I added weight to the stand...ROCK STEADY

You could also use the same idea on the Fanatec Rennstand.....not wanting to drill holes for the Pedals

All the cables are tie down....

Good work. It's always nice to see custom stuff.

PS: I just realized, how much wider my Rennsport wheel stand is now that I see the Clubsport pedals on WSP.

Yess......It does hang over the round stock......but with the plate and the the bars under... and with the stops....it is rock hard ....I could have even use a bigger plate.....even using the same Plate would make your Renns Stand better......if you didn't want to drill holes....You don't really have to use Aluminium....use wood

Looks very cool - but why the new plate under the actual wheel? The stock WSP has 2 holes that work for the PWTS wheel, and the two others are easy to drill. Seems like that plate you added would make it more top-heavy. See post #11 in my thread:

You got it right...I was looking for added weight....Why would I want it lighter?...I can still move it from room to room....This setup with the added weight is rock steady... take a look at some of my other added weight......solid rods, solid post. and added weight to the front foot........I don't have lot of movement and flex

That looks amazing!

I get my GT2 soon hopefully and need to get the CSP mounted to my WSP.

I'd like to make a pedal plate like you did, but I think I'll fasten it to the WSP with cable ties around the legs that sit on the floor.
I also want to add a dead pedal beside the clutch for a more natural feel.

Very nice though, I wish I could work with thick aluminum like that but I don't have the tools.

If you look at Picture #7 & #8...the donut ring is push up against the dead plate......there no movement there...I don't know what the weight is....like I said..I wasn't looking for lighness.....If you are looking for places to pick-up the metal plate...Look in local phone book for Machine Shops...don't call...go there in person....lot of times they have scrap bins with some nice pieces already cut...and just use a good hand drill

Can you tell me how you connected the CSP to the plate? I'm doing what you did but using wood instead. Did you have to drill through the feet of the CSP? How does that work?

The holes on the ( 4 ) feet are pre-drill already......wood is also a good idea...

Alright then. Thanks. I already bought the materials, just need to assemble. But I may wait till I have it in hand. I may place my base a little off set to the right. This way the brake isnt dead on center to the post.

I'll give you an update in the next day or so. Let you know how the wood version comes out. Thanks again.

I have a wheelstandpro, GT2 wheel and Clubsport pedals (which just arrived today). I cut a square of particle board which was measured to hold the pedals. I got the pedal dimensions off the fanatec website. I painted the particle board black. I used the mounting kit for the Xbox pedals that came with the wheelstandpro to mount the particle board to the wheelstandpro. I drilled one hole in the middle of the particle board which allowed me to use the screw for the mounting plate. I then screwed the Clubsport pedals to the particle board. The install is solid and it looks great. Quite heavy...

Holy crap, I totally forgot about that pedal clamp/stopper thing. I think its still in the box. I might utilize that. Thanks for the reminder and heads up. 👍

So the xbox pedal holder, is that just the thin bar that screwed into the bottom of the G pedals?

I never thought of using that.

I'm also planning on making my pedal stand a little wider so I can install a deadpedal hopefully.

No, when I ordered the wheelstandpro, I was planning on using it for the Logitech Driving Force GT and the Xbox 360 wireless racing wheel and pedals. I paid $20 or $30 extra to get hardware to mount both sets of wheels and pedals. To mount the Xbox pedals to the wheelstandpro, you get a flat piece of metal with a hole in it, plus a screw and small bar with a threaded hole in it. You put the Xbox pedals on the wheelstandpro. The piece of metal goes on top of the pedals and then you use the screw and the small bar, which is mounted on the bottom, to secure the pedals in place. I took pictures and will post them shortly.

I feel pretty lucky that the wheelstandpro is such a high quality, versatile product. I was able to use two of the extra holes on top to mount the GT2 wheel. Securing the wheel with the two screws, plus the built in table clamp, is quite sturdy and I do not worry about my kids knocking the GT2 off the wheelstandpro. For the pedals, again the wheelstandpro showed its versatility in allowing me to mount the Clubsport pedals in a solid, sturdy way. The whole set up is quite heavy, but very sturdy.

What's up with Fanatec's shipping lately? I ordered the pedal stopper for my RSWS and the clubsport shifters for my Turbo S on January 23rd and they still say processing. I sent my second email about this off, they never even responded to my first one...Anyone else waiting long periods for in-stock items to ship?

Looks great. I'm not sure either why you wanted more weight below the wheel. At such high center of gravity I'd think it only adds more wobble to the whole construction. Not that it's really a problem, I have a T500 mounted to a wheelstand pro without issues and that is much heavier.

I also have CSP coming and I'm currently hoping I can just put them on the stand losely like my T500 pedals. But I guess they're lighter so maybe that won't work.

I am not sure that will work, hence my solution to put particle board as a base for the Clubsport pedals to sit on. The reason I was concerned was that the Clubsport pedals have feet and I am not sure the pedals would sit securely on the bottom of the wheelstandpro without some sort of base to sit on. Overall, my set up is very sturdy. I am quite pleased with it. Here is a picture of what I have:

with the csp v2s you dont need to modify the wheel stand pro

if you clamp the 2 metal plates around the base of the WSP at the furthest end away from where you sit (i put some cardboard inbetween the plates to minimize sliding due to metal on metal and put the metal bars right up against the WSP's furthest end so the csp's butt up against the back of the floor stand, also to stop sliding) and screw the 2 screws in from underneath (so the thread of the screws are facing upwards) the holes in the csp v2's rubber foot stand are exactly the right space apart to fit over the 2 screws. now your pedals cannot slide but they will pivot under braking. so now get 2 zip ties or pieces of string and tie them through the other 2 csp foot holes and around the base of the WSP.

works a charm

I have to say that wheel stand pro does not look very sturdy compared to Fanatec Rennsport wheelstand.
Has anyone made a direct comparison? I had Fanatec one before moving to RSeat RS1 and just looking at the pics WSP seems pretty lightwight compared to Rennsport. Just curious cause my friend is looking at some decent budget wheel and a wheelstand. And I'm supposed to make some suggestion.

I own both and I do find that the Rennsport is more sturdy, but less adjustable.
