Dude, you're putting these out too fast! Wait at least a week between threads.

Hall of Fame in my opinion. My all time favorite band!

I can't think of any other artist that has such a diverse sound. Each album is different from the last. The Chili Peppers are always changing up their sound.

Here is was I mean:

A song from each of their nine albums over a span of three decades.

Diverse? I've always thought of them as surf rock... but definitely one of the best of the generation.

Got Stadium Arcadium for my 10th birthday (on CD :ill:). Their awesome. But they were awesomer when I was 10. Not HOF for me, but awesome nonetheless.

Surf Rock? I always thought of surf rock as Lo-Fi Beach Boys stuff. I've never gotten any of that from the Chili Peppers.

It's the vibe, I guess. Surfing-skateboarding-beach-stuff... alternating between thrash and cruising music...

The following video is messed up, but the sound is fine. The guitar solo at the end is one of the best things I think I have ever heard.

Crow, could you find a better picture to represent the band? One of those asterisk logos says "Red Hot Chili Willies." I'm not even sure what that means.

I put a meh. They have this sloppy funk sound that irritates me. I used to like them when I was 11 but that doesn't say much. I don't hate the band but they rub me they wrong way.

HOF, couldn't be anything else. They're still amazing live even though most of them are knocking on a bit now. I've been listening to their music for the best part of 20 years and the vast majority of it has been brilliant, there aren't many bands that have achieved that.

They're a bit of a mixed bag to be honest. Their A-sides are absolutely fantastic but their albums don't quite match those stratospheric standards.

This.

I like the singles but whenever I listen to the full albums I always feel a little let down. But the singles as mentioned already are superb, generally.

love blood sugar, the rest of the albums are hit or miss for me. I give them a good, bordering on HOF but not quite making the cut.

Good, but not quite HOF material

Some great singles, but as mentioned, albums tend to have one or two good cuts and a lot of filler.

Any excuse to plug my last month's escapade

ANYWAY, All time favourite band, which is why I nominated them. So it won't come as much of a surprise me voting HOF. Here's why in a simple video.

See that last 5 minutes? That's insane stuff right there. The first 4 were good enough but the level those musicians are communicating on is out of this world. Shortly after, the guitarist John left the band and the baton is picked up by Josh, the guy standing behind John as the backup guitarist.

Also who the hell voted get a new profession?

Let's talk about Flea! Hand's down one of the greatest bassists in music!

Here is why:

Here are some more of my favorites:

Subway To Venus:

Young John is epic!

Backwoods:

Readymade:

And then there is this one, Sir Psycho Sexy: EXTREME Language warning! Lyrics not for the faint of heart or the elderly.

He kind of looks like a aged Dave Wyndorf from the 90's. But now Wyndorf is just fat from recovering from heroin addiction.
