Its amazing what crawls out of the woodwork when a new GT is released. :grumpy:

I think it’s the wrong side of 4 years since I last logged in. But when it came time to start reading up about GT5, thar be only one place to go.

It's good to see so many of the old breed still around. :)

I think what convinced me to hit up Duke Nuke’em to assist in finding my old password was when I realised that my original sign-up date was way back in ’02. This place is kind of like the part of the doorway nobody wants to paint over, as it got your height marked off on it as you grew up. Even when you come back years later, the marks are still there to bring back the memories. And the good memories are aplenty.

Some stuffs that has gone on since I vanished in 05/06:

Drove the C32 lots.

Had to repair C32 lots.

Changed jobs.

Worked in Belgium.

Ate lots of Belgian chocolate.

Travelled to North America a bit.

Went back to South Africa.

Repaired the C32 some more.

Got tired of repairing C32.

Went for a joyride in the C32. Had a 200+ heartbeat per minute moment. Took hint. Sold C32.

Bought Civic.

Sold Civic.

Never been ‘Down Under’. Moved there anyway.

Settled in a bit.

Got sent to Beijing for work for a few months.

Got introduced to the Beijing “lose 10 pounds in 2 days” food poisoning diet and bought a Breitling for $5.

Breitling lasted 2 days and stopped working.

Back to Aus and changed jobs to bookmark the travelling.

Job sucks.

Changing jobs again, but this time to a keeper.

Yay GT5 is out soon.

GTP noob. Again.

Hello, Mike Rotch. I suppose we haven't met yet. I'm an '06 baby, so I guess I was just after your time here.:)

Edit: Now I see you're magically premium.

Thanks lads! Its been too long, way too long.

I am amazed at how many usernames i see that i still recognise.

SL, I remember you giving me work out tips for when i was considering getting in to the British Army! Crickey.

I remember that. That was a long time ago. I hope you stick around for while, even after the hype of GT5. 👍

Glad to see you return, in Australialand now eh :D

(If you remember me it will be by VIPERGTSR01)

Mike! Good to see ya back! I had to do a double take when I saw the thread starter. Good to see you. 👍

I got you confused with Rumple Foreskin there for a second, somehow... erm, welcome back to the forum! Always good to see old faces return.

I was about to accuse someone of a major thread gravedig. Turns out it's an old member in a new thread, rather than the other way round. Good to see you again!

Haven't met me either but I am glad to hear that you have come back and are in Aussieland :).

I remember you by this tag - thanks for the heads-up, I wouldnt have otherwise made the connection.

As for Australialand, I ended up in Sydney. :D

Thanks for the welcome guys! I'm still finding my way around the shop a bit. Like a geek on a first date.

Hello! You absolutely don't remember me, I joined I think in '07, but I've read many of your posts skimming through old threads. Welcome back!

Nice to have some of the old guard back.

I used to be sublimedood10 back in the day. (what a cool user name!)

Wut?

Good to have you back, MR...Welcome (back) to the jungle.
