Trying to make a one stop shop to find the car you want:

This thread was first called: Where can you buy old cars (RUF, Peugeot 205, ...)?
But generalized to help people find cars.

From another forum I had seen this question and the interesting thing is:

1) It seem that in Dealerships you can only buy most cars that are really in Dealerships today (some exceptions I certainly have seen in Ferrari, etc...).
Even after you finished all the licenses.

2) Most old cars are only available from the "Second Hand car market", as they would be in real life.
On top of that the second hand car market moves; after every event (race, licenses, special missions) the 6 cars longest on the market disappear and 6 new come on the market!

Colours:
1) You get the colour of a car (race cars generally do not have a colour) when you buy or receive the car as gift.
2) You get up to 10 colours a day as gift for logging in online, these can be any colours.
3) Every 30 cars in your garage you get a rare colour (Silver Chrome or Matte).

Nope. They're actually different races. Take a look at the lists again and compare.

I'm really happy that one of the cars I want I can win...just...now I have to figure out what car to use to win it. :)
 
Yeah thats what I meant SS the second set are like amateur ones.

Also to OP I just came across a 205 T16 Rally car but it cost nearly 2 million..its at level 13.
 
I think a lot of the cars have bit more realistic prices. Like the Subaru SuperGT car costs like 350,000cr. and the Rally Car costs 650,000cr. Something tells me that a Rally Car would really cost more than a race car 'cause you essentially have to buy the car, and then the car again in parts. Plus with the sponsorship and the fact that the Impreza Rally Car is more famous than the SuperGT car...yeah...Those NASCARs are going to be expensive as hell too.

850k for a rally car(premium),Nascars are 500k,Super GT GTR35's are 950k but what confuses me is that some Super GT cars are at level 18 and some are at 19(in the same dealership I mean).:confused:

A used Oreca Viper also costs 2 mil.

Sorry can not help, still waiting for my copy, I just found it from the French that start to be very far in GT5 now.
 
That's about right. Those old LM cars are rare and pretty valuable. 2 million for the Oreca Viper makes since. And new race cars aren't cheap, either. 500k for a NASCAR is pretty accurate.

I mean, in GT4, there weren't many cars that were above 1 million credits. In GT5, there are several. But, that also implies that earning money is really easy and you can get 20 million pretty fast.
