Anyone know how to unlock all 16 locations ?

* Siena - Piazza San Campo

* Bern - Marktgasse

i guess u got to complete 100% of the game.
 
Doing Japanese Classics in the Beginner Series will net you the Kyoto Shoren-in Location.

Another Four are rewarded by doing the world tour in the Special events section. It should give you San Gimignano Town Square, San Galgano Abby, Siena Piazza del Campo, and Lucerne Chapel Bridge.

I also have Ahrwieler Gate and Street, but i dont remember how i got them.
 
does anyone know if the grey misty location (nothing but the car) shown in some screens is available as a selection

Best I can find (info gt5rs.com) myself, some I already unlocked, but did not note:

* Ahrweiler - Bad Neuenahr = AMG Academy Beginner Bronze???
* Ahrweiler - Lennepark = AMG Academy Beginner Gold???
* Ahrweiler - Marktplaz
* Ahrweiler - Niedertor = AMG Academy Beginner Silver
* Siena - Piazza San Campo = Grand Tour Sienna stage
* Kapellbrücke - Luzern Chapel = Grand Tour Luzern stage
* Salzburg - Red Bull Hangar 7 = Somewhere have the feeling that unlocked early
* Siena - San Gimignano = Grand Tour San Gimignano stage
* Siena - San Galgano = Grand Tour San Galgano stage
 
Because there are a lot of german/swiss/austria locations. But this is an international game, so I would expect more exotic or famous locations from around the world. I wondered if this has something to do that I am german and have the european game version/german PSN account.

Do you think, they modeled hundrets of 3d environments to satisfy every person in each country?

They´ve chosen this places, because they find them pretty. And it´s not only Germany, but also Switzerland.

I think, they´ve chosen places, where you just can shoot street cars. No good place to shoot your race cars.

Got the same issue myself; only have 11 locations in photomode; and i've golded everything thusfar apart from 100% of the licences and some of the endurance events.
 
Grand Tour... click "next race" or something, from the first race (the alfa 8c at eiger) without doing the races, watch all the short films and then carry on until the last event... i did it today and unlocked 3 locations... :)

Yeah, but we all know about the Grand Tour Locations, because everybody´s owning GT5 owns this locations...too easy to unlock them.

In last days everybody talks about locations in the list, where nobody knows to unlock them....

...like Nürburg castle ruin, Shakado Pass or Ahrweiler - Lennepark for example ;)
 
The Grand Tour photo locations are unlocked by watching the "transition" videos between the Grand Tour stages.

After Eiger: Luzerne
After Monza: Siena
After Tuscany Tarmac: San Galgano Abbey
After Toscana Dirt: San Gimignano

I also know that some Ahrweiler locations are unlocked by the beginner AMG Driving School.

AMG Beginner Bronze: Ahrweiler Street
AMG Beginner Silver: Ahrweiler Gate
AMG Beginner Gold: Ahrweiler Square - Winter (Or so says this thread; I haven't verified it)

I also unlocked Kyoto - Shoren-in from one of the A-Spec series, I think. I'm not sure, but I think it was the Japanese 80s Championship.

I know I've seen Nurburg Castle and Shakado Pass on the main menu, so I should think they're unlockable somewhere. I've also seen an alley that was also in Prologue (its name escapes me). But I haven't seen Lennepark since GT5 Prologue, and I also remember Tokyo from Prologue which I haven't seen.

Yeah, I am really missing them, especially Bonn, wanted to take some pictures in my hometown. Kinda strange, because they are still in the game as main menu backgrounds (although, haven't seen Lennepark in GT5 so far), even with their limited space, they would be awesome.

Isn't there any new info on this? And from where came this 16 piece list anyway? I still have only 11 locations.
 
i haven't even heard of some of the locations such as Shakado Pass, Kyoto - Shirakawa Tatsumibashi, Nürburg - Nürburg Castle and a couple of the Ahrweiler locations. can someone post images of those locations if possible?

I was looking into it and this 16-piece list (above) seems to be made up, final game only has 12 according to GT Planet official FAQ thread:

Kyoto - Gion (Available from start)
Bern - Market Street (Available from start)
Ahrweiler - Town Square (Available from start)
Ahrweiler - Street (AMG Driving Academy Easy - All Bronze)
Ahrweiler - Gate (AMG Driving Academy Easy - All Silver)
Ahrweiler - Winter (AMG Driving Academy Easy - All Gold)
Kyoto - Shoren-in (Complete Japanese Classics in both A and B Spec)
San Galgano Abbey (Complete 4 Grand Tour Events)
San Gimignano - Town Square (Complete 3 Grand Tour Events)
Siena - Piazza del Campo (Complete 2 Grand Tour Events)
Red Bull Hangar-7 (Available from start)
Lucerne - Chapel Bridge (Complete 1 Grand Tour Event)

Other locations, known from GT5 Prologue title screen and Apex book apparently didn't make it to the final game.
 
Theres a possibility to unlock them if you have the 100% of the game complete, do you know someone with the 100%:)
