I was just thinking, with the possibilities of online gifting, a lot of deals are being struck with online trading, instead of what I think PD intended as just "gifting cars".
However where a deal is made to gift cars it is ussualy a trade not a gift, and one person can easily screw the other over by not holding up his end of the deal, and unlike real life you really have no option but to suffer the damages.
One also person always has to go first taking no risk, and the other guy playing roulette, there isn't even the option to swap one car for another at the same time.
Of course most of the time its fine as long as you find a trustworthy person, but I don't see why a trading system cant be developed, in addition, have an option to be able to LEND a car to someone for a given period instead of gift.
Say Loan a car for 3 days to a someoene that really is asking for it but has nothing to give you in return, you can skip the part about asking for it back when its they are done with it. why not have that option?
