Excel Template?

Does anyone have a good template that they're using to keep track of tunes for different cars/tracks/A-spec/B-spec/tire requirements, etc?

I could make one, but no sense reinventing the wheel if someone has one already.

Thanks in advance.

Once hit 40 in a few days time i'll whip up one for it all, at least B-spec. Gonna take a bit to get to 40 in A-spec ha ha.

I didn't mean that I wanted all the tunes, I just want one I can use to keep track of my own tunes and the times they did and such.

I just created a quick template for my own use that I'd be willing to share with you guys. I really don't understand why there isn't a tune save feature in GT5, but without it I needed to make some way to keep track of tuning setups for cars (just in case I botch it up with a tweak).

I've tried to include everything into a single page so that it can be printed out and put into a binder or folder. There are no protections on the file, so you can edit it, if you want, to include anything I may have missed.

Does anyone know the values for the LSD for a typical muscle car. I understand that it varies for every car, but I am using a 1970 Dodge Challenger and it tops out at 120mph no matter what the LSD is set at. I have tried all sorts of values, there is still no difference. I would love to know how to get rid of the limiter. Thank you.

Brilliant. That's exactly what I was hoping for. Thanks.

I'm working on one right now. If you have "Mozilla Firefox" try using it. My Explorer 8 wouldn't open it.

I'm not quite sure what you are having trouble with exactly. I put the excel file into a zip container (GTP doesn't allow for .xls files to be uploaded). And I tested the file by downloading it and checking it. It's working on my end.

To alleviate the problem, I'm uploading a second copy of the template as a pdf document. GTP allows PDFs in as direct uploads.

The PDF version is able to be filled out as a form. It allows you to check off mods you have installed as well as enter in the data for tuning settings. This was just a quick conversion so there are likely some rough edges, but it works.

I'll also include an example (my Lancia Stratos setup) to show how it can be used.

we need to start a google doc excel sheet for this. Where each tab can be a car and then multiple tunes from people therefore we can discuss and decide which tunes are the best for driver type/track etc..

Thank you very much for both of your templetes

Thank you very much, this is a great template. I can now convert a messy note pad of random notes into an easily readable page.

I'm having trouble downloading the excel template. When i press the icon, i get redirected to a page which says I have to be a member to download the file.

I would be great if someone could email me the template :) My email is [email removed by moderator]

Thanks in advance.

I just wanted to announce that I have made an update to the existing Excel Template.

The new version adds cells for:
Power
Torque
Mass
Tested Tires
Select Aids
Power to Weight ratio (automatically calculated)

I've also put in drop-down menus for the tires, aids and installed components to allow for easier data entry. My Excel-fu is a little rusty so I wasn't able to streamline it to the level I wanted, but it works.

If there are any bugs, let me know. If there are still problems with people getting the file I'll upload it to a separate hosting service.

You could add RM, front splitter, extensions and wing... Also in the areas with + or - numbers the cell needs to be updated for "text"...

Nice work guys
